I just looked at Marly's photos & noticed the envelope Ceaser sent looks battered. Must have been through the mill on it's journey Still it survives

It's a strong evelope, the content hasn't been damaged.
According to the news, the NL postal service had it's busiest day today, due to the holidays, 30 millions Xmas cards!

Wow.. What a good news in the morning.
I have mix feelings of suprise and shock. I really didnt thought that paper would travel that fast to far far land, Netherland. I posted it last Tuesday and it arrived on yesterday- Tuesday. Just one week. Let me tell you, how it went to NL. From my city, it would have went to nearby metro city either Ahmedavad in my state or Mumbai in neighbouring state. From their, took flight to NL and to Marly. I remember Marly saying they can receive letters from one end to other end of country in just one day. So i was pretty sure of that once paper made to NL, it would reach Marly quickly. Unlike in my country, that abroad mail would arrive in mumbai then sorted statewise. Then in state, sorted citywise and once reach in the city would take one or two days to reach doorstep.
Well, the envelope is one of the strongest one. Sean, remember the one I sent you? Normally i use that kind of envelopes only.
Looking forward for more pics.
Thank you.

I didnt know Surat means post/mail in Indonesian language. My Surat city is located on the bank of river Tapi. The suprise thing i know is Thailand has also one city named Surat and it is also situated on the bank of river Tapi.
Sure, Residentevil, you can get into the list. Hans will update it.

Yeah, as I've had the paper from the first attempt aswell, in February 2011, I've already been taking pictures of several nice places in our small town then, so I'll have to find alternatives now
Unfortunately, it was winter then (grey and wet) and now again.
