try to clean the little black point on the middle..
Your problem doesn't happen to me.ever.and i always take pic..except the iso+shutter speed.i get to bright..and the only solution i have is.shutdown and power on.not restart button..

I tried the other night, you can do good night portriats with the flash, were you expecting that xenon could light up a large area outdoors?
If you have something close to you, like a person, and you use xenon, the flash will work very well if you set night portrait or even normal mode, for indoor pics with flash use twilight portrait
What it cant do: light up a large outdoor area of complete darkness - we only have max 1 second shutter speed
it does a very good job indoors and works well for photos of people

APR if you want good night photos you need a Digital SLR They have huge sensors bigger than whole C901 cam module

Or even better, buy a C901, buy a compact camera with long zoom and buy a DLSR That's what I did
