@Daedalus85; I thought it was BIS 2.4. Even though no username was set ... the PIN is associated. I was going to suggest to make sure the PIN isn't set for another provider but that doesn't seem to be ur case here. Was there a link in that message sent to your BB?
PS there are still a few ppl that prefer the trackball (very few), if you can find one that doesn't need the camera, wifi, etc of the newer curve/pearl models; see if they'll trade

Ok, I'm just putting my flame retardent suit on as we speak, cause this could be bad lol...
I've been stupid. Very stupid, very very stupid, in fact very very very VEEEEERY stupid. So stupid inface to the point I'm considering having myself sealed in a rubber room to protect myself from my own stupidy, I've been THAT stupid.
I had one last ditch look at the E-Mail settings link on my BB that goes to the BB version of the www.o2email.co.uk site. And there was one little bit at the bottom I forgot to look at.....
'Create User Name'
So what did I do? Clicked on it, registered and low and behold, it worked...
I need a lie down, I think my brain must be turning to mush or something lol.
So forgive me peeps, I was just being a little retarded the past couple of days, looks like theres nothing wrong with any of it, I'm just plain stupid lol.

I know, I've got a whole list of other names to go with it too, but thats the main one
Anyway, all working lovely now, got my sigs sorted, iching like MADDDD to get a Pearl 8120 or a Curve 8310 but I need to hold on and see if I'll benefit from the e-mails I get
At the moment, all I get are HTML email, gaaaah, when the hell are BB going to get out of the dark ages and let me see 90% of my e-mails?

Maybe when you look and get Empower or BBSmart HTML Viewer.
Or wait for the new batch of BB which will have HTML Borwsing enabled.

Empower is a good suggestion. But if you wait a few more months, they're be an update that the 8120/83xx/870x models SHOULD get for free when providers update the BIS as well. HTML emails and a few more options as well.

Cool thanks for that, I honestly didn't know HTML e-mail programs existed for the BlackBerry's
Only problem is, I reckon O2 will charge me for using that, unless it tricks it into thinking it's the same as a standard BB e-mail program.
I'll see if I can give them a call tommorrow about third-party applications using data and how much it costs.

I meant the data charges, because if I can't use third-party apps like Opera and Google Maps without being charged then I dunno how they'd deal with a third-party e-mail client :/

Because you can take it from em that they dont. Of course you could check it out on their site if you dont trust it.
Zoots uses Empower, I do, i think Reggie does...And if he does then Nanu does....and they will all tell you the same

So...O2 will be none the wiser? That'd be cool
I had a trawl through they're T&C's, and from what I can tell, so long as the program is set to use the BlackBerry Internet settings and not the O2 Active ones (because O2 Active is charged at £1/MB (pretty reasonable) where as the BB Internet one is included in the unlimited data), then it's ok.

I don't use it, although Nanu does...
90% of my emails are text only.. any other can wait til I get home! (iTunes, ebay etc etc)
