shivam, buy a phone with edge enabled, that gives you more speed. |

spartan117's trick works on my pc using k700i on windows 98 only and not on windows xp. I cant chat using yahoo messenger. I can only chat with people who are on my friend's list on my yahoo id. But I can't open chat rooms. When I try to open room the error occurs "The request for signing in to chat took longer than expected. Please try again later"
please help.......

@rahul how much time did it take to download the file? Could it be that Airtel is testing edge at your place?

@rahul - did the download really finished quickly? just maybe, the speed shown by DAP was wrong.
But if the speed rate is correct then I think Airtel was testing EDGE in ur circle...not sure though |

that speed is absolutely amazing dude...........
yest night i was shocked with 20kB/s when i used seus2............
but that was just for a a few seconds.....
i'm impressed at spartaan and alan.....truly....
luckily for me,i have free airtel nop right from the beginning.....
and i have been long searching for somebody mentioning chatting over yahoo messenger.... actually i was interested in voice chatting....
this thread came close.but still no answer....
at present in a painfull conclusion....
since the external ip is the same for all airtel gprs users we cannot register ourselves for chat rooms or voice chat(because we don't have a unique ip address)
damn....
somebody please correct me if i'm wrong....... hope nobody tells me that its the gprs technology limitation which prevents us from voice chatting........
anyways this is the best thread i have seen so far....... no wonder.. after all we are indians..................

Hey guys, Now finally I have found a way to download large files from filesharing sites like rapidshare and megaupload etc using Spartan`s trick. I am posting a link to a software developed by some russian guy which is used for hacking rapidshare and other filesharing sites. It is a special download manager that is made exclusively for file sharing sites and its FREE! It is called Universal Share Downloader.
Get it from
http://www.dimonius.ru/PROG/USDownloader.zip
I will mention its advantages....
1) It works with spartan`s airtel gprs trick!
2) It is possible to download large files
3) It supports around 50 file sharing sites !!!!!!!
4) supports multiple file downloading simultaneously
5) You NEED NOT wait for the timeout period to start the download!!!!!!! The download starts instantly. So it works like as if u have a premium account !
6) And the best part is.... ITS FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After installing it, just make sure you go to the settings menu and set the proxy to airtel proxy. Another thing, when entering file url just omit the .html part. For example, a rapidshare url looks somethin like http://rapidshare.de/files/7132720/filename.rar.html .
So enter the url as http://rapidshare.de/files/7132720/filename.rar .
Also pls post ur experiences with this tool.
