Abu you are right about non-debater members like me, i learn about phones and get a better idea of the phone i want to buy from your debates. I think its high time Angelgirl upgrades to 3G phone so i can be among the pioneers to enjoy some freebies, .

Can someone advice me the lowest priced 3G phone i can get, which i can also use to connect with my PC.

@aya: i dont know u personally but I KNOW U! If video calls can be made for, say, N3 - 5 more than ordinary calls I KNOW u will have a register of all your 3g contacts to call!

As regards to the 3g sightings, just because 3g is in the transmission insignia it doesnt mean a thing. They could just be marking out the masts in high density areas that they "intend" to roll it out, in a bid to feild test the coverage area.

@Angelgirl, let me advise u candidly, cheap doesn't necessarily mean good quality, fast access on 3g networks and access to installable n relevant variety of 3rd party applications, for Instance Sony Ericsson is cheap without good functions, but cheap and good quality are most model of Nokia N and E series it will give u good quality product.

Angel girl by the way u didn't give us what ur idea of cheapest or lowest priced is without compromising quality ie ur budget, since the word cheap is relative, for instance abu's defination of cheap is Honda end of discussion with SE P1 (I like being Oga) sill advert, advertising SE P1 on the print and electronic media !!!

...Not many profiles here: handsfree and headset. No A2DP , no file transfer, no HID for Bluetooth keyboards...there's no way to Bluetooth a camera photo to your buddie's phone or PC or share an unprotected music or video file. (mobiletech review)

Angel, don't mind Areafada...plenty grammmar for simple question!
My sister since you dey the "sony" side of life I recommend K600. It sells for around 16k. It is a fair upgrade to your T610.

Abu: sorry o; but you don't know me enough. I'm a practical, utilitarian. Interpretation: if I find no real use for something, I put it aside. MMS is a case in point: it has no real use. Either of email or SMS do what it does better. I do not remember the last time I sent an MMS.

Video call will be the same. It is a novelty that will wear off, especially considering that one has to pay for it. I can envisage one scenario, though, in which I may use it: if I'm on a long trip away from home and really start missing my wife. Even that will be dependent on her having a 3G phone too, and all she does really is just voice at the moment, so I'm not holding my breathe.

I actually stopped by non umts compliant phones since 3g licences were awarded. Though I do not think that video call will be so much of a hit (it really hasnt been anywhere!) and I know the data may be well unaffordable, I'm the kind of guy who hate to think there are things I cant do but others can.

I also believe that you acquire things not exactly because you need it everyday, but because of the diificulty you may encounter on the one unpredictable day you may need it in 3 months.

How will you feel if your friend who doesnt care about the cost wants to make a video call to you? "Sorry, the other party can not recieve video calls!"

Finally, in my line of work "clients" may wish to show me something and which better way is there to show it than with a video call, rather than asking them to travel down from a corner of Nigeria.
