Super camera driver for k750/w800/w810 |

@Raiderski
I have K750i CID49brown with R1DB001 firmware and this firmware doesn't allow me to save zoomed pictures at 2MPx resolution. It saves picture without zoom. I cannot load another firmware (R1CA021) because of "brown" and it is a big risk to convert it to "red". Is there some way, how to bypass this restriction? I mean in camdriver. Please help... |

@Tuner - Your stuck with that... New CID49 models of the K750i have restricted zoom... You can't zoom at full resolution... The only way to have full zoom is to change the camera module of your phone to a CID36 camera module... and the zoom will work agian... It's a hardware issue... not software...

No mate, you are not right, cause CID49 red with R1CA021 saves zoomed pictures, but with R1DB001 does't. I am sure. |

You are wrong, my brother has cid49 with cid49 camera module - no matter what firmware he use he cant save zoomed pictures!
I have cid49 phone but with older camera module (from cid36) and zoom works! peace! |

I think you are all wrong.
Not all the CID49 cant zoom. Just from sometime the cid49 cant zoom, at least from 06W39. My phone is cid49, produce in 06W18, but it can zoom.

Don't for get to put #CMD(21,01) so that you will not get yellowish picture.
Flicker Correction removes yellowishness? :/
No, only for indoor pictures with light on I saw he has yellow bulb and by correct flicker, he wil get true real colour
I just tested all 3 settings and i get best result (with bulb light) with value 3
bulb light? means incandescent light bulb?
for Fluorescent, I think if your country power system frequency is 60Hz,value 3 is the best,if it is 50Hz,value 2 is the best.

rigth
Correct each country or continent has its frequency or prefer to work in certain frequencies used the most are the frequency of 60 MHz generated by this generation plants can be down by generators down "traffic generator" that the frequencies to 55 MHz or 50 MHz but there are fluorescent lamps with different colors ex: fluorescent white ice and fluorescent yellow

my phone is cid49 06W34 and it can zoom because it has the old, good one, camera module Lately i changed camera module (06W09) and ofc zoom works
So... all phones made after 06W34 have crappy camera module without zoom? |

The best firmware for you to use is W800i r1bd001 cid36 for cid49. Hope this can make you feel happier
I cant see difference in photos quality after changing firmware you recommended :/
Why quality should be better after changing firmware? As far i know quality depends only on two things:
- camera module ('cid36' is best for k750i/w800i)
- camdriver0.dat
or am i wrong?

I think the camera module which cant zoom in big size maybe not bad. Maybe it has different zoom funtion, it cuts picture from 1632×1224.
for example, in 640×480 size, when 1x, it takes in 1632×1224 and saves as 640×480, when 2x, it takes in 1632×1244, cuts 1280×960 of the pic and saves as 640×480, when 2.5x, it takes in 1632×1224, cuts 640×480 of the pic and saves. in 1632×1224, it only has 1x for this method. So the camera module can zoom 2.5x in 640×480, but cant zoom in 1632×1224.
If it is this method, the picture quality wont be bad when zooming.
it just my imagination, maybe is wrong |

photos without zoom with new cammodules (at full resolution) is not a big problem - NOISE! is a big problem (and some other things like lower sharpness value and not working saturation change!)

You are totally right. K750i can only save zoomed pictures at smaller size by edge-cutting (crop) from the originslly size (1632x1224). I remembered i complained about this a long time ago It is useless to zoom at the size 640x480 as the pictures are too bad. However, w810i and cid36 can save zoomed pictures at any size. You are lucky and I hope this can end this discussion
