So my dad is thinking of getting a M600i. He is a building contractor, his hearing is pretty bad, and he is not too fussed. Never really seen him take to the idea of a new phone until he saw the m600i. Think it might be the stylus he likes. And it is free on the weekend everyday contracts, as is the k800. So any suggestions, ideas or thoughts?

For someone in construction?
Mmmm not sure bout that let him have a look at it first.

What probs were you having with your phone? Other than the vid cam setting?

Nice one...I was about to see my civil rights lawyer when I discovered it's a dummy.

@ TeenInvader, The Sony Ericsson m600i.

Um, I know it is not the best for that type of job, but he is not too rough on his phones, despite being very hands on. suppose it is more for the features than the practicality of it. Being able to not have a billion little notes all over his bakkie would be really cool for him=)

@dr_thug: I honestly would not know if I bumped into a Bollywood megastar or a little wannabe. It seems all Bollywood movies are the same...drama, singing, dancing, more drama, more singing and sometimes they have a scene where it rains and the two lead characters are both dripping wet. I'd rather watch a cheesy soap opera.

@ Francois,
I'll have a good listen when I get home; the London Grid For Learning URL filter at work is blocking myspace.

Even though we currently have a short holiday here at the moment, I've come in to work on the classroom displays and sort out all the laptop charging leads in the 2 cabinets, which at the moment resembles generous dollops of black spaghetti and liquorice.
How the kids got these so entangled after each laptop has its own compartment within the cabinets is beyond me. Oh well, I'm getting it sorted now.

Children are supposed to be a blessing, boet, but as i'm sure you know, they're also magicians par excellance! How else does one explain the phenomenon whereby you hand over one 5gram Marie biscuit to a baby, yet end up with 10grams worth of crumbs?
I'm not superstitious, merely mildly stitious.

talking about that, at our church family day a little baby freshly walking approached us, and we gave her chipniks, and as we gave it to her, she crushed them with a mighty force, every single one!lol!

Where is this thread heading to?

Ok, today was a crazy day...first Lebo dies in a car accident(she should've worn her seatbelt) then someone starts a rumour on a Gauten radio station claiming that Thandiswa Mazwai has been shot...how sick...a couple of hours later it's confirmed that she is still very much alive. Two songbirds killed in one day would be too much for eMzansi to bear.

Someone probably just heard wrong and confused the accident for the murder, and as we all know, bad news travels faster than light, and everyone was onto it. As it is said, presumably by Douglas Adams, they should make space ships that are powered on bad news and rumors, then the speed of light will be a distant memory of privative times=)

Right, I'm shutting down the tablet PC at work now and tidying up; home and a cold Budweiser or two are calling me.
There's lovely peak-hour traffic to contend with first though, and it looks like its piddling down again...
See youz all la'er.
