Guys. Just confirmed the N7.50/SMS. On Glo classic, glo2glo is N7.50; to other nets, N15. Not bad. Like I said, it is a good step in the tariff reduction process. |

Good thing I got a glo line 4 my fiancee; our lovey dovey texting just got cheaper.:-) All thanks to vmobile: their initiative is forcing other networks to play ball.

Hiya fellas and (only) landlady. Glo's new SMS tariffs were in the papers on Thursday. More hot news: Vmobile has clicked 2 million subs!!!!! This blew me out! And I think Glo should also be in the 2 million range too. MTN? I DON'T KNOW. How did V do it? Comments please... |

@coola. Vmobile got rid of the boardroom squabbles that had bogged them down, simple. Good to see some healthy competition; innit?
I would like to know where both glo & mtn stand. Mtel, anyone?

I am sure MTel are still at the 900000 mark of november. V has impressed me. 1.1m in August. 1.5m in Oct. And now 2 million in Mid-December! I think the 1k SIM card promo has over delivered. At this rate there will be over 8 million GSM subs by the 4th anniversary!

The case of mtel is like that of the leopard who never changes its spots. A national shame. I had hoped they would at least play more vibrantly.
