sapporobaby,

The W950 does NOT have any ext. card!

Gotcha there

I suppose it can appear as a normal volume over USB?

Just thought I'd let you all know of a few updates to my Mac & SE site.

iSync 2.3 Phone Plugins are now available for the following models:

Z710, W710, Z610, W850, K610, K510, K800, W300, W700, K790, V630, Z550 & Z525

All enable Address Book and iCal data syncing and have proper phone model icons appear in the iSync window.

Also, I've just (finally!) finished and uploaded my Mac OS X Tiger inspired themes for the K800, K790 & W850, K610, Z610, K618, Z710 & W710, Z550

Download from: http://mobile.feisar.com/

Quick question for M600i users. Has anyone gotten their M600i to mount as a USB Mass Storage device? I have a k800i and it mounts no problem but for some reason, my M600i does not mount.

Thanks.

Hello Sapporo! Something about the M600i is different from SE non-Symbian phones. M600i requires that the SE desktop software to be installed first before you can use it as a USB device. And of course, the desktop software doesn't speak OSX Oh well! My W900i is seen as a USB device automatically, but not my M600i. This is "normal".

Yes. I have spoken to SE about this and they say that Apple and SE are working on a fix for this.

Hello Jools! Does it matter that the mac has usb 2.0? I thought the w900i is usb 1.1 only.

In the W900 White Paper Developer document, it doesn't actually say whether it is USB 1.1 or USB 2.0

So, I'm not sure now...

It should not matter I would think as USB is forwards and backwards compatible.

hi, i would liek to be able to control my i-tunes library over bluetooth with my K610i. pretty much, i'd like to be able to have my mac hooked up to my speaker system, then be able to select the songs from my itunes library that i want to be played from my phone, whilst, say on my bed, thats jsut how lazy i am!!

Anyone got a program that's capable of this?
I've had too many phones in my life to list! I can't remember some, but i certainly know that in the past 4 years, i've got through about 40.

The shortest time i've had a phone for is... 21 hours.

Do you guys know you have full access to the M600 and P990 as a browseable BT device?

Try it, you'll love it. You can put multiple items in different folders on the phone with out going through messaging; all from the comfort of your desktop.

USB?? Cables??? Who needs them!

Thanks for the tip, but yes. This is well documented and you do need the cable if you want to transfer large files quickly. BT can not match the xfer speeds of cables.
