No bezels dont improve sales..
Mix, Nex and Find X barely sell .. These brands have high marketshare because their low end.
I bet S10 will sell less than s9 that sold less than S8 that sold less than s7.
Most ppl will just look at storage and battery size.
Then end up with the cheapest they found..
BTW , iphone 8 is the #1 in Japan with almost 2cm each bezel....

We cannot keep on comparing sony with samsung or apple anymore
It was a company of their stature, not anymore
And for attracting customers, sony should deliver an all round experience at an attractive price point
It should definitely have some stand out features else it is getting nowhere..
With the leaked dimensions sony should at least put in 4400-4500 mah battery ( people asking how just check mate 20 pro and compare dimensions)
A face id solution, techs like acoustic surface and bringing back 3.5mm jack and the complete camera package should do the trick
As i have told earlier they have the best implementation of Android on the basis of software
This phone shohld set the base for further success of sony and pave the right way
In emerging markets like India people are very conscious about the features available at the lowest price point
And most will ditch a sony phone in favour of oneplus which would also be cheaper
So Sony should offer a package that justifies spending the extra bucks

Someone on the twitter of Sony Mobile Italy said to be excited about xz4.
Sony replied with the answer they do not have any device called xz4 and left link to their page with all phones available.
I doubt OnePlus sells 4 million phones per year.
Of course it is cheap...
- Developed and built in China
- Chinese UIs have adds that bring money
- They dont need to keep operations in many countries
- Outside China they sell online only ( cheaper than having phones at stores)
- Local suppiers are always cheaper
- No IP rating, no sd card slot, no stereo, no Hdr screen, cheaper sensors, useless second camera, less devices to give software support
It is pretty clear the fact that in China , costumers choose to pay $900 on a Mate 20 Pro than paying $500 for OP6T or Xiaomi Mix3.
Sony wants ppl to buy their stuff, but does not let ppl know their stuff exist.
I have never seen on tv any advertisement of Sony stuff besides PS.
No brand will succeed in USA without carrier deals.
Except Apple of course.

OK, first of all, it's not chinese but Japanese.
And the screenshot is from sony italy twitter, thus, written in italian.
I'm not japanese or italian speaker but anyone can get the meaning if you spend a little time researching it.
so can't you briefly use your brain please?

Wouldn't it be more practical, if you already researched and translated it, that you also write the meaning of the link instead of letting all of the users do the same thing after you? Posting a Japanese link with a "hint" is plain stupid. If you want us to translate it for you then post the link and ask someone to research about it and sum it up, not a problem, but stop doing that shit.
I didn't want to sound disrespectful but that is a practice how almost any forum works...

I'm italian. i can explain you the meaning of what they wrote. The 1 guy was saying that he was waiting for the xz4.
They replayed with a "standar" answer (call center kind lol): " We have not a phone with that name, you can look at our portfolio at this link...." It means "nothing".....

The picture of the phone + case has SONY in the middle of rear panel.
But since X, all have Xperia written there ...
Should be like Z ... Sony in the middle and xperia near bottom. |

A lot of the cases are there for sale and they go with renders to advertise but buy a bunch of them and see what they look like in reality because they could all be the same with the genuine cutouts and at the correct size. Shoddy companies will be inconsistent but if you really want to know you should invest. |

I think that "nothing" is mean we don't it now. Not related to the future. They are just brushing those rumors.

My "nothing" meant that their answer has nosense about what the guy asked. they was referring just to their portfolio....and not about "future" phone. |
