Had a small gap today in the cloudy weather with some sun so i had time to take some test-shots.
Indoors it works really well and the flash is amazingly strong. It takes really usable shots in most situations.
It works really well outdoors too but the images are quite soft. I think they have done this with purpose and not sharpened the pics that much. The Renoir wipes the floor with the c905 if you look at the pics straight from the phone. But if you are a little bit handy with a photo program the pics can be very much improved. I use to play around a little with levels and increase the sharpening a bit and this is a quick fix for me to get the shots like i want them.

Fix by me. This is quite "overdone" but just to show what the result can be.
The "Smart Contrast" function does something like this and brightens up all the darker areas in the pics. The same shot as above taken with smart contrast on will look like
Here it is with smart contrast on. Too bright in my opinion and i rather tune my pics like i want them.
Everyone has different taste but for us who likes to work with our pictures there is much we can do with the c905:s pics. The file size seems to be big and around 2,2 Mb for each shot. Itīs really easy to sharpen them and it takes me around 5 seconds to do this. I use to adjust all my pics when i rezise them so this is no big deal for me. This sharpening process is built in some other phones so thats why the pics look much better straight from the phones.

Pitzon, nice and interesting. It would be interesting that you to do a comparison with the renoir.
my brother has had problems using its c905 with the handsfree its alfa (blue&me). I was sold to me because of that. It currently has a renoir but he is tired & upset of using it and he want a sony ericsson again!

Thanks Davidsic
Well in my opinion the Renoir takes better pics in bright and sunny conditions. The sharpening are harder set so to speak and the pics look better in normal "view size. But as i say above i can boost my c905 pics a bit afterwards so they look like the Renoirs. The LG pics feels ready straight from the phone.
The c905 seems to be better all around with a much stronger flash. Indoors it seems to work better than the Renoir. I had a hard time getting really good indoor shots with the LG even without flash. You can lock ISO but this doesent help completely because they gets either to dark or to brigh.
I think even the c902 keeps up with or even is better than the c905 outdoors and in good light but itīs doomed when it comes to flash pics and indoors. So looking to all aspects the c905 wins in my opinion.
Tried some night shots and the c905 handles this well also. Shot in auto mode without any flash.

I think average 2.2 MB for each shot is very small file size for 8 MP.
I USUALLY get 2 MB for my shots with K850i which has a 5 MP camera(with modded camdriver ofcourse).
So i think C905 will take better pictures if someone will make a modded camdriver which increases the file size. Around 3.3MB.
This is my opinion.
