Ill be getting the fone tomorrow or thursday, so ill check then. But if anyone has any experiences with O2 with track ID, does it work?
Btw Kimi I definitly can change the homepage on my W810 settings>connectivity>Internet settings>Internet profiles>more>advanced> change homepage |

I have never been able to get trackid working on my O2 branded W880i either through O2 or T-Mobile.

Sorry if it's already been mentioned in the thread but does the mmr-60 fm transmitter work with the w880? |

I can change the homepage setting on my K610, too. But it has no effect with the W880  ...
And - as far as I know the TrackID does not work on O2 because of their "walled garden" policy. I'm on Swisscom - there it is no problem at all. |

Had w880i since May on 02 from 02 shop and Track ID works fine .
My son has one on 02 his Track ID didn't work both phones had same firmware, was told by 02 it's because he got phone from Phones4u.
Persisted with complaining to Sony and they sent him a new handset with
no branding at all and Track ID works fine. |

that's what i said. he must debrand it if he wants to get the TrackId working.

Sorry to be so long, my handset is branded by O2, but the track ID, and every feature works correctly on it.
Has anyone noticed that the Demo tour for the W880 has the Walkman player version 1, rather than the version 2 which is what it has, watch it and you'll know what I mean.

All works, but I cannot change my homepage, it seems silly because I can on my W810.

it is really strange, that the homepage on the W880 cannot be changed. And that is even on a unbranded generic version of the phone.
Or is there any trick? Are there so few using internet with the W880 that almost noone is annoyed by this?

I like it the way itt is. On the unbranded version when you go to the internet the homepage is on the phone so it doesnt waste any data (and money) loading a page that you might not want. You cabn set set a homepage for the internet button on the keypad.

No you can't. Or I'm too stupid (after 6 SE Phones) to change the setting. Where should that be? Please try.
On my old K610 it was no problem at all, changing the homepage in the internet profiles. Then the button opened the new homepage and the "internet" icon in the main menu still opened the search page on the phone.
But this setting has no effect on the W880 . |

OK, Ive just found a BUG? or two in the firmware of my W880i when I goto view on the camera, I can choose the 5x5 grid, and then if I goto Camera album and click more, then sort by file type, then view the pics in the album it shows them as a 5x5 grid, as landscape, and yet in the bottom corner when I select a picture it still has landscape option, which if I click makes no difference. Anyone else found this?
Also before this, I couldnt have fullscreen wallpapers, even tho I clicked maximum, and yet now it works... Strange??? |
