Last month (july) warid had severe SMS problems. It took 10 tries to send 1 sms. But now its fine

srry to hear about ur w810 loss...its a real good phone overall...my uncles addicted to it...he also had his stolen/lost a few months bak(before his wedding) and whenever he asks me which one to buy hes always like wat about w810...ive bought him a 6233 and once again hes thinkin of sellin it and buyin something else...

As far as i know no network allows u to switch from post to pre paid keeping the same number.

Those warnings seem to have been true: since the violent storming of the mosque, a peace deal between the government and militants in North and South Waziristan has broken down, and violence has soared with scores of soldiers and militants being killed. ppl also say that its the "2007 karbala" muslims killing muslims...undoubtedly govt and these rampagers are onus and culpable....
now the question is where are we headed??? |

The following important questions remain unanswered: why did the government act so benignly for the past six months and allow a problem to augment into a major crisis; who was Abdul Rashid Ghazi and how did he manage to smuggle a huge cache of weapons into the mosque complex; was intelligence flawed or were intelligence agencies involved in the plot; and why did President Pervez Musharraf choose a time for the crackdown that coincided with the meeting scheduled for all of Pakistan's opposition parties in London.

@umer: every possible problem yaar...i had probs subscribing to the zoomu package  i subscribed 7 times without getting any confirmation message and then i got all of them at once, and subscription of 7 days with the money deducted messages wouldnt go...would give errors and when i resent them,they'd go twice...calls were damn expensive...and GPRS?on Warid? watz that Meray baap dada ki toba warid say!

The w810i was indeed addictive...fun phone...especially that texas wali game in which u shoot the cowboy thank u for ur sympathies..but as far as im concerned,the 6233 is also a BEHTREEN phone, so to say sound quality is superior thru the external speakers...and thank u for the reviving thread thingy...im so HONOURED...1st the best newbie and then this standing ovation..thank u (bowing till nose touches ground ) but in all honesty, say thank u to shuja,shuak and QVGA,and to a lesser extent, greeneyes and inferno..sorry gals but i have to be honest and the guys have posted waaaaayy more so..everyone here deserves the thank u as much as me..a standing ovation to u guys too! 
About the political talk,indeed it was getting to my head too...about the red eyes,splash with cold water and take an anti-allergic like Avil or Incidal Neo...though m no doc, this is gonna work..and dont scratch them!

1,i dunno where we are headed, but to quote Ardeshir Cowasjee( i luv dat oldie): if this continues,pakistan wont last another twenty years..
2,the govt acted benignly TO AVOID this crisis...they tried peace which didnt work,so they were forced to do this...if they'd used force early on,they would have been much more criticized cuz they would not have even gievn the red mosque brigade a chance to surrender...think of it as a way to justify their storming of the place..
3,Abdul Rashid Ghazi was a middle aged idiot with a white beard and lots of guys with guns...
4, I have written how the weapons were smuggled inside but to save u the inconvenience of searching thru the thread,here is it(so much for being a gentleman):
There was a sunday bazaar just beside the mosque.Pathans came there with loads of good to "sell"..in those bundles were weapons.when night fell,those bundles were secretly carried inside the mosque..for details,check out the thread for when i was reporter $herry..

6,It is obvious as to why Musharraf chose that time for the crackdown...the All parties Conference was a mammoth convention and it was obvious that all eyes would be on it...but see what happened? very little attention given, even by the media..Red Mosque coverage,live,action packed,boost ratings...or APC coverage,stupid boring meeting with stupid boring politics by stupid boring ppl? obviously, the Red Mosque stuff...as a result,the APC got very little coverage and all the hype surrounding it died...Few heard the weak points of the current regime,and few heard of ways to correct it, as in Nawaz Sharif's 12 point agenda...Mush went scot free,shown as a tolerant leader trying to control the Red Mosque crisis,instead of being shown as an inefficient president if ppl saw the APC! Simple as that my dears
