Oh dear...
So are they not allowed to make a competitor??? If that means they are copying, then you could say Sony are copying by making a Phablet, so is LG.
It also means every Android maker has copied Apple by making a consumer friendly tablet, no?

and as always it's gonna look horrendous.......
And will probably crush any Sony competitor in Sales, Update Support and Performance, despite your and other Sony fans opinions. that's if this GS4 Zoom is real, it could just be a Galaxy Camera successor with no phone capability.

Samsung isn't known for good cameras nowadays. Nikon, Cannon and Sony are... |

Sorry but Galaxy S3/4 camera has been better than Sony, latest Sony camera performance has been crap when they could easily make it better. At least Samsung give a small toss about camera not that its anything special but still, Sony should pull their finger out. |

I'm expecting future Vaio line (with Intel Haswell) will have similar design like this one or a total makeover for the Vaio S and Z )

@stedus If that's their entry level model than what will their high end model be like!?
@badassmam I was obviously talking about dedicated cameras. Samsung's dedicated cameras are some of the worst.

Xperia A (SO-04E) could be unveiled next week.
from my observations, sometimes it's better off not knowing. |

With all due respect to everyone in this thread I have to agree with badassmam and Tsepz, being a Sony fan myself I have to admit that while Sony is dong a fantastic job with their Alpha A-series and NEX as well as the legendary RX lineup, it was ironic that despite being the company behind the sensors that were used on both GS4 and iphone 5, It was their smartphones that are disappointingly lagging behind just because their camera engineers seem to be messing up with their in-camera JPEG engine that resulted in below par image quality that we see today. I honestly couldn't discern the problem why they couldn't make it right with the Xperias when on the cybershot division the engineers that designed the RX100 could make their brainchild camera outclass Nikon's (a company reknowned for their outstanding JPEG processing algorithm) very own CX cameras with ease. what's more other than Nikon, Sony also produces sensors for both Pentax and Olympus with their highly acclaimed OMD-EM5 that outclasses every single Canon subframe on any ISO benchmarks that we could find in the internet. it's truly a shame that they couldn't got it right for all those years. the news about Honami really got my hopes up as I thought this could be the product where the engineers behind its camera were real imaging experts and not oil painters.
and PS: Samsung MILC cameras weren't bad, but their JPEG engine s*cks indeed, their RAW output were just as good as the NEX's
