@Lostsoulz
I've not seen any easy way to close the browser. The only way I know without having to go through a task killer is repeatedly press the back button. Not convenient if you have been browsing for a while.

re: the browser .... hit menu, select "windows" ... hit the "x" for all the open ones. This leaves just the
default home page which can be closed with the back key ..... that's what I've been doing so far !
I reject your reality and substitute my own.

No one has an unlock method for the AT&T model? Even an online pay service? As long as it works.

@JAGUY85 I've not tried any unlocking service myself with the X10 but in the past with other phones I've used davinciteam and it's been fine, but by the looks of it they haven't got an unlock for the X10 yet.

Try System Panel, its an excellent task manager/system info viewer, it can help with simply closing apps that are giving problems, overall though you dont need a task killer, the Android system handles tasks very well on its own.

I live in America, american computer, is that a reason why it wont update? need help soon.

If I have to manually download the updates, please tell me where to download and how to install.

How far do you get with the Update process?
What are you using for an internet connection?

Only the second step, when it was "preparing". it failed to update after that.

I have cable broadband internet, running on Wi-Fi. I have an excellent signal, running on Wireless-N devices.

UPDATE: I finally got it to update. It's finished update, now just waiting for it to load. Thanks to Hobbs for your concerns. It seems my computer needs a restart.
