I didn't have a single problem with mine - other than the camera. (Hence, a little nervous about whether I will get new problems with the replacement).

Anyway, NevilleX, yours actually look a bit less blurred than mine, but just about the same areas - it would seem there's a tiny bit of blur in an area on the right side too (as on mine), except it's not quite as easy to spot as the left side.

Here are a few pics with lousy composition - solely made to check on the blurriness on mine:

its the same problem everyone else with blur is experiencing, and noone knows what the problem is.

That is exactly my point.

Everyone seems to be finding the most obvious reason why the phone is producing such poor results. The lense isnt centered, firmware issues, week of manufacture..

Yet IMO if there is a problem, its more likely to be something much more technical that none of us can get to the bottom of, only SE.

My pictures seems fine, if they come out blurred they come out blurred in the whole picture and do not have patches or blur more to the left than anywhere else.

@ Phantom, that first picture is terribly blurred IMO. And not just in one place, the whole picture.

@Phantom

Apart from the blur, there also seems to be a little noise on the right hand edge of the pictures.

there's none here... and also, do any of you ever get it to happen where you have it auto-focused and your green dot is stable and everything, then when you click to take the picture, it goes away and redoes it without auto-focusing? that happens to me sometimes.
and back to the service center, could i get it done in HK service center?

@Phantom
It looks faulty to me too, but to be 100% sure.. use a little table or somthing and take some pics around with self-timer. Then you are absolute sure that the phone doesnt move when pic is taken. If its still that blurry its faulty.
