why do we have to pay for plugin's now?
with ref to mobile.feisar on isync 2.3

Because web-space and bandwidth isn't free, neither is my time! Do you think £1.49 is too expensive? You can't even buy a beer for that!
Novamedia charge €10 + 16% tax for their plugins, and you have to buy the whole collection just to get the one for the phone you own.

Don't waste your time Jools. The guy is an ungrateful idiot.

And I've now verified my T637 works perfectly without hacking Address Book. I wonder what's going on with your T630?

Any m600i users out there? I have a question. When you connect to your Mac, do you get a menu list to use either: Phone Mode, or File Transfer Mode? I have a k800i that behaves this way but the m600i doesn't. Is this normal behavior?
Thanks in advance.

Quick question for M600i users. Has anyone gotten their M600i to mount as a USB Mass Storage device? I have a k800i and it mounts no problem but for some reason, my M600i does not mount.
Thanks.

Sapporo,
just got a couple of M600i's (don't ask!) and been toying with one more than the other.
Been trying mostly to get 3G over BT to work with an iBook. Got it to do so yesterday and it's GRRREEEAT!!!
I tried *briefly* to use it with the USB cable but only managed to have it lock up! It just freezes; maybe we need to update fw, as I'm sure it's been in the shop for a month or so and must have an old fw.

It has a few minor shortcomings but I like it very much. If I had to do it all over again, I would still buy it. Infact I traded out my Nokia 9300i for it. You will not be disappointed.

I'm thinking of buying sony ericsson W950i but I'm shit scared because I don't know how well it'll work with my precious Mac PowerBook... Being able to upload my music / songs is my number 1 worry... could somebody tell me not to worry and that everything will work out just fine and things will be more than OK and that my new phone is gonna get me riches and laydees.
thanks

All of the above and your place in heaven is assured.
In all honesty, it will work with the MacBook Pro. I have a PowerBook and trasnfer songs back and forth via BT, however this is quite slow with large files so invest in a M2 Card adapter and xfer your files this way. One thing to remember is that this is a phone. Do not get caught up in the complaining and bickering about how it does not do this or that. It works well as a phone and I use it part time as a music/video player ( I have an 80 iPod for the heavy lifting), combined with the HBH-DS970 BT headset. Perfect combination.
