can you upload the files we need and a quick set by step guide please...I can't get them and it would be nice to keep everything here without havin to skip from one forum to another...I'm sure this would help most people..cheers   |

Extract you phone_app.cxc in the boot file,with a2uploader,then use far manager to patch the file,then re-upload the phone_app.cx to you phone.
i cant do a tutorial now with pictures,but let me sse if i can post a link to a page,or youtube. |

it does work! 
it is not quite as efficient as the BestPic mode, but it does the job. This is more like an automated script that is simulating the manual user input to change EV levels.
will post some sample shots soon.. |

Elf's are a pain.. i wish i could help you guys out more.. but I had a friend basically set it up for me on my phone.. so I did not not do all the required patching myself so I am not an expert to teach someone else yet, as I am still learning as well.
once you get your boot files patched, and required library files copied over to your phone, all you need to do is run the elf on the phone, and it works.. its as simple as that.
there are lots of tutorials out there,
Witchking, and other users also post their latest working versions of the required files here

here is another HDR shot i just took.. what I do not like about this elf is that you still need a tripod or be able to set the phone down on something.
the process of taking the pictures is very slow, and not fast like BestPic mode.

how many photos do you put in the elf to take?
i set the number in 7,did you left it default?,and wich program did you use to put all the shot in one??? thats the only step i have to make,cause the elf just take the pictures. |
