BARGAIN ALERT

Sony Ericsson Cybershot C902 PAYG £259.95 (£239.96 with trade in) at CPW (unlocked)

Goto CPW, give them an O2 PAYG number and an old trade-in, they will knock £20 off, if you try to buy the C902 Sim free from CPW they are quoting £300.

Good deal as these are going for around £300 on shebay!!!!

One thing to mention is to remember that if you buy a new phone in an O2 store as an pay and go upgrade on same number you dont have to do the top up. Plus ya get upgrade reward.

Sorry, very very wrong.

CPW you can get away with that, but if your O2 store is not enforcing top ups with upgrades, they can get in serious trouble. It's heavy company policy to sell top ups with ALL pay as you go phones, and has been for at least 8 months now.

The W380i is £39.95 on Orange + £10 top up at CPW by the way

Im not wrong. I have done many upgrades on pay and go in an O2 store. What they have told me everytime is if i have an upgrade reward on my account i dont have to do top up. If there is no reward you have to do the top up thats whats happened everytime trust me i know. They take the other sim out of the box as your using your existing one and they always told me i dont have to do it. Thats the truth i know i have done it so many times.

Your telling me, the guy whos worked there for nearly two flippin years, that I'm wrong?

Like I said, if they're not doing it, they're in serious trouble. It's an audit requirement and if they're not doing in there in knee-deep-shit. It's been company policy for many months now and should be being enforced. If you're somehow getting it, good for you, but they shouldn't be, so when they suddenly stop don't kick up a stink, you're just lucky they've gotten away with it so far.
