Got mine this morning. I am impressed with build quality; looks and feels superb; dimesions r good too. But what I feared happened;the keypad isnt really top-notch or may be I need time to get used to it. |

I've just got a P1i on upgrade from O2. Not had a Symbian phone since my very buggy P900 which put me off them. Have stuck with the K series ever since.
Hopefully it will be here tomorrow and am hoping that I'll like it.

I have a problem with WLAN, I entered all parameters(SSID,WPA-personal,authentication,passphrase,mixed B&G mode) but the connection fails everytime. I phoned SE engineers and honestly they were crap, they dont have a clue. I tried to update the software but still the same,my router is Belkin;it works fine with my laptop(WiFi G)and printer (WiFi B) can anyone help? |

I tried to connect with no security and surprisingly it worked, may be it is not compatible with WPA2 |

I think it is ok with unsecured and WEP secured network but not all WPA. Just tweak your router parameters and dont call SE engineer; you will time and money. Good phone though, looking to fill it with applications. |

...What are the chances of Orange UK totally ruining the homescreen? I wasn't too bothered of them doing it on the P990 but I have a feeling they'll completley screw up the shortcut apps thing and they STILL have yet to release the last P990 firmware update!!
Apparently they aren't releasing it at all. I was told they probably won't be doing any P-series in future either (although I can't see how the guy in retentions would know that).
I've read a rumour somewhere (might have been on here) that they won't be doing the w960 either. I don't know whether they have some issue with SE or something. |
