If I'm to move from my k800i to this, the main thing is the flash...
I'd love to see how the p700 flash compared to the k800 xenon flash which I use a lot whilst out... |

Sorry for maybe silly question - how can I answer for call on this phone? Should I press on touchscreen or use jo-dial? Or do it another way? |

Script I think it's more less the same as in M600. So you can either touch the screen or press the wheel.
By the way Peter do you know something about the CPU?? |

One of your pics shows the storage wizard.
There you can see the internal memory and the memory stick space.
Why is it called "Memory Stick 1"?
Is there another memory stick slot in your prototype?

that is the name of the memory stick. it can be memory card, x, . whatever you want. in this case, he named it memory stick 1
i think this 3,2 mp takes better pictures than k800. really. when you zoom 1:1 there is no blurry textures like k800's pictures

Does anyone else find the design of this phone a bit off? It seems too eclectic, and very much still under development.
I sure hope this is not the p990 successor. I tried the M600 for a few days. Many a time I would overlook it while it lay under my nose because I would mistake it for a calculator.
This one looks the same but with a silver finishing and a "video-game" red varnish.
Besides the additional ram, nothing really says a winner. Sorry if I seem like a harsh critic, but I was hoping for something more revolutionary. |

I wouldn't have quite called it ugly.......
I think it harks back to the good old days of silver and black like the T610 and the side kind of reminds me of the K700.

nahhh.....it reminds me the protos SE sends do my company.....
P700 is a mixture of too many phones and styles ..... There is nothing new and quite pretty. After all, is like you said: it does remind us old stuff, from other years.
For example, it looks like a helmet! More, a cheap helmet.
Like I said before, I'm used to see SE lunching innovative phones......
btw, don't worry. The products that will be launched in the 2nd semester will be much more appealing.
