Unlocked Xperia Z HSPA being released in US this weekend $629,
HSPA? No ATT LTE bands? Is it 6606, or the TM is the 6606? I mean then what is the difference with 6603, it's also HSPA only? |

C6602. The C6606 is going to be out soon but a carrier exclusive. C6603 has LTE but its for Europe and other countries not the US market.
Current Phones/Tablets: Lumia 920 // Xperia Z // Xperia TL // Xperia ion // Xperia P // Surface Pro // iPad 3 Accessories Sony Smartwatch // Sony Smart Wireless Headset // ion Smartdock // Livedock |

Oh ok, so that unlocked HSPA is just the olgood 6602, and the real 6606 (aka TM exclusive as per FCC docs) will be out later? Do you know if 6606 will work with ATT LTE (I think it uses the same chip as in ZL, so it should...)?

Yes it will have hardware BIONZ chip, not software.
HTC have had imagesense chip but BIONZ is WAY better than that.
Also honami sensor won't be sold to anyone else until 2015 end.
Same for all future top smartphone sensors from Sony
Sony Mobile exclusivity for 2 years minimum

Nice, so what is all but certain with Honamis camera? 1/1.6", exmor RS, G Lens... maybe xenon flash. Anything newer in the past couple days aside from this Bionz news? |
