Since I also have a pinnacle av/dv capture card, and am impressed with its quality, and the overall quality of pinnacle products and their superiority, I would recommend Pinnacle. Never ever get mercury... ever.

I'm just a bit skeptical about the effectivness of the mercury tv tuner software that is bundled along with it. Also Pinnacle has far better support. You can dld the latest patches, updates etc. off their site. All in all pinnacle is a top notch company, whereas mercury is a company that makes economic and cheap products and not high quality and top class ones.
