My word psycho, you got kicked off once during the day. That is bad. I feel for you. Almost everyone else gets kicked off every few minutes! You are expecting a phone to do a linux server's job. Not gonna happen:) i am really impressed with my phone as i never get kicked off really, but if i was on the whole day, (i am on at most 30minutes a day, but rarely) i am sure i would get the boot at least 3 or 4 times. It is almost to be expected. In our market so much more. Everyone is reliant on telcon, and if they cannot even provide a stable connection, no one can. But yeah. Do you stay on mxit all the time psycho?

@ psycho, being connected the whole day to my select few mxit and googletalk friends during the day is usually enough. By the evening i just want to be left in peace. Which is good, cos its tough to get on then:)

Eish, drama again over New York...taken from the BBC a short while ago:

Two people have been killed when a small aircraft crashed into a building in New York City's affluent Upper East Side, police say.
Flames and smoke are coming out of the 50-storey apartment building on Manhattan island.

The FBI says there is no indication that the crash is terrorism-related. A White House spokesman said they were not ruling out any theory.

As a precaution, fighter planes are now flying over a number of US cities.

The New York Fire Department said the aircraft struck the 20th floor of a building on East 72nd Street and York Avenue - identified as the Belaire, a prestigious 50-storey residential tower.

The hypocrisy! Now weren't you the one talking of the 'mxit kids' a while back? And yet... The whole day...? Lol no wonder you want peace! Nah mxit is a noble facility in a market that does nothing but exploit....

Concert was absolutely awesome...got to the Bellville Velodrome just in time to catch Jigga. I'm not his biggest fan(don't own one album) but I'm definitely going to represent when he comes down to Cape Town.

Since I was standing at the back the pics didn't come out too nice. But here goes.

@ da brixta,
Glad you (and judging from the pics, thousands of others) had such a bril time at the concert.
Those pics are certainly no worse than the ones I took at the Rammstein gig, Soulfly gig etc.that I've posted on here in the past, but hey-so what, we're making the most of our handsets and when experiencing concerts or other momentous occasions that we find ourselves in the midst of, pictures like these are often worth a thousand words.

Seems like the three of us are representing for the nightshift.

@da wanqsta: Like I said, it's always hit and miss with phone cameras but I believe an 2Megapixel would've taken better shots...N70's camera can't compare.

@ Brix, cool pics! i like to watch international acts. there is some factors that set them way apart from local talent. i got two invites from two bands on my myspace site this last week. one was a us rock/grunge band and the local band was, you guessed it! metal! the local band is closer to my taste, but they were crap set next to the other band. the dynamics of the us band is incredible! Then you listen to the south african band and it sounds dead in comparison. This is where i would like to get involved in music, getting it to be able to compete on an international level. We got the talent, but the producers try to get albums out, not good albums, just any. I have a passion for music here and hope i get to a place where i can be an influence.

@ psycho, what browser are you using? Noticed you sometimes have to post twice. I use opera russian cracked version. It allows for 1024 characters when posting versus less than 300 with the official version. Just thought id mention it, just in case...

@ da brixta,
Hmm, I'd agree wrt the auto-focus equipped SE 2mp phones.
I can't say that SE's better than Nokia in the old/outdated/passe VGA camera segment, if going by the phones that I've used in the past, where the Nokias indeed seemed better in this area.
However, in a more relevant (to now) and up-to-date sense, almost all reviews that I have read on mobile-review, mobileburn, gsmarena etc. have raved about the SE 2mp auto-focus equipped phones in shootouts with the likes of the 6280, N70, D600, etc.
Same with the 3.2mp shootouts too, it seems. (except video.)

Right, I'm gonna have to retire from tonight's Night Shift now; it's been a long day and I'm buggered...Mrs A's already in Lala-Land.
Salani kahle, y'all.
