Anyone catch this fairly interesting article on Neotel's website? Oh, i seem to go to this site weekly for telecommunications news these days. They seem to update often enough to get a weeks worth of news there.
http://www.neotel.co.za/neote[....]/en/page132?oid=7121&sn=Detail
This article backs my claim that Telkom is a big reason that MXIT is not as profitable as it could be.

Im using a M600 atm..
It sucks!!
Well for starters it look cheap! Ugly cheap!
Baby Blue and black?? What were they thinking?
The web browser is nothing special...
Mxit works but its a mission to get arround maybe I need time with it, but it looks like I need the stylus when chatting...
The music player is very advanced!
Better than my K800 and the W810 wierd...
Same h/sets as the K800 though.
No theme support.
And for some reason its not playing 3gp vid files, but only in the main media player...
+ tft screen...
It also needs a web browser short key ASAP!
And well its Vlive... |

There we go, the first review, and a harsh one as well...
Why is everyone so quiet? Must say, it is a busy day. Back to work!

@siosal. Cant believe you're going for w810 over k800. No bru. Im banging my head that i did!
W810 is also ruining mxit for me... I get disconnected at least once a day; an experience i never had to suffer before. Oh and after utilising half my phone... |

...memory its reaction time has slowed considerably. And the 1st requirement of a good pc or cell is speed IMO.
Murphey rules my life. Everywhere i try not to look there are great reviews on the w900i. Im still sulking!

Nah the W810 and K750 and W800 are the most perfect phones for Mxit Just no copy and paste features.... Believe me... no other phones supports mxit better than a SE
Could be your SP, I bet it is!
The k800 only disconnects late at night if you using 3G with gprs no troubles!
Also Mxit been having some trouble recently. |

I know, mxit's been a lot worse since v5 came out too. The thing is i was never once disconnected with my last SE. It's not the SP it's the phone, eg many people with Samsungs don't even bother logging on to mxit anymore. |

I have only heard rave reviews about the w810, and I don't like the design of the k800 nor do I need/ant 3g at the moment.
The w810 comes with more memory (which I like) and the standard duo pro cards which go up to 8gig (the k800's mini cards only go up to 1 atm)
I have a digital camera (so I don't care in that respect, besides, whats a million pixels difference anyway... really?)
Having the best phone has never been a concern for me, as it never lasts. My k700 (when it's working) kicks just about every other phones manufacturers @$$. After 2 years! I can still keep up with all the newer models too. I have everything the newer phones have, just in limited amounts (such as memory and camera). And all the w810 is to me is a slight upgrade in camera and memory, with the added benifit of looking gorgeous. |

I suppose, especially with regard to the external memory. But if that's the way you see it, then im sure you'll be very happy with the w810, it is a DEFINITE upgrade from the k700. I never expected to raise my eyebrows; i did. |

One of my cousins owns two phones, a K750 and W800, and he's been singing their Mxit praises since he bought the W800 for the astounding sum of R500 from a desperate punter outside the casino in Cape Town. (What's the name of that casino? It's on the bloody tip of my tongue, can't get to it...)

Grand West.
My brother has the w800 and he's kicked off mxit just like every one else. Mind u not as much as the samsung bunch! Shame it's a joke. But it's Francois who evokes the mxit storms, so...

That's crazy, probably one o1f the reasons I don't agree with big casinos being in residential areas...they can put thing in the middle of the Karoo- next to the N1 highway.
@ da krypsta: Now we all know where to get cheap secon-hand goods...mind you, how does one know the phones are stolen cause I would assume it's an impulse buy and you can't do any checks.
PS: I'm off to see Jay Z tonight...okay, I still need to get my ticket( usual Capetonian procrastination) but it's 90% certain that I'll be there in the crowd rapping along to Jigga.
