@Coola: where have you been? you forgot to comment on Celtel's free sunday on net calls.
I just saw the adverts. Brilliant! Just when u thot we had seen all the innovations, Celtel come along. Hope Glo picks it up. I know CLC's (Crazily Loyal Customers) like Amby will have 10 hours free airtime on Sundays.
But it is still not enough to recall my Celtel SIM from the bench. I am still waiting for the Migration fee to be scrapped b4 I join the Unity tariffs. With all the VAT-related price increases, I have been strict about using MTN for MTN calls and Glo for Glo calls. Celtel is currently too expensive.
@All How was the strike in ur part of 9ja? I think it will be total in Abuja and Lagos.

All this talk about Amby's Naija version of Opera mini is making me feel like Bill Gates
The strike was quite effective in my area, with almost total adherence to the stay at home directive.
@Coola: No matter how much you load, the maximum you get is N4,536 worth of bonus airtime for celtel to celtel calls, so there's no way I can get 10 hours. Which day you wan marry sef? I wan come chop ya rice o. |

@coola: Don't take offence O! We care.
As Day 2 of strike action draws to a close, I just can't stop thinking that Baba is still is in control persuading Yar'Adua to be firm. |

Methink that NLC should call off the strike without further delay.They can continue their dialogue after that.Imagine NLC president saying that electric power and water supply will soon be affected by the strike.If this happens,who does he expect to suffer it?

Hallo every1. Lonnggg time. I presume you guys know you don't have to own a BlackBerry to enjoy corporate or personal email particularly if you own a SE phone;P990 to be exact.Just visit the SE support site to download the BlackBerry Connect software You may still have to to pay N6,000.00 or N5,000.00 for the the corporate or personal plan.
However Glo or MTN may be reluctant to implement the service on any other brand since the whole idea is to sell as many BlackBerry's as possible to its ''esteemed customers''. You nerds better get to work on finding a workaround. TTFN |

congratulations y'all, now you get to go back to work tomorrow and your suffering continues cos now there's going to be a shortage of the product to show that the price increase is a necessity. thats nice.

@234h: unless u're a real biz exec that gets crucial email that need instant responses, the email on any SE phone suffices. this blackberry offer is just for show offs! I check my mail (abu@awoof.com) periodically thru out the work day and at a cheaper cost than subscribin to MTN's offer. even on my old T630 the MY FRIENDS section handles IM fine. i'm surprised that more people dont use it |

The only thing we gained from that strike is that NLC,knowingly or unknowingly,has signed that govt is free to increase,even double or triple petrol price after one year.Perhaps they think that one year is eternity.Keeps me wondering whether Nigerians are not worse for it.
