You have made this tread a disaster with your constant complaints and garbage.
I second that.
Sea, with the "contrast & resolution" topic, you're doing a "thread takeover". you're diverting members' attention toward something of less importance!
you used to do better posting. what's up buddy? |

I have seen the price of the X10 on pre-order (in Swedish shops) going from 520€ up to 1420€. These prices are mere speculations by the shops and will change upon release. |

Resolution ??? Who talks about resolution ?? Jeez... are you getting drugs or sth ???
Some poor guys here are losing their mind ... and defend X10 as it is their life while they don't even bother to read what me and many other people saying... Oh get a life .. you don't deserve an answer on these personal attacks!Go and get your phone there is no need to discuss anything. It is your drug...
Ontopic :
A phone having a hardware which supports 16M and multitouch and HD capabilities but a software that is old and don't support these features is a big mistake ! Why can't you understand that? You say you don't care about that.. but if there were 2 versions of x10 1)One that supports all these and 2) don't ... which one you will choose?? It is obvious. Yes there are many other disadvantages like poor-no stereo loud speaker quality and no oled screen technology or radio etc.... but these are hardware lacks and cant change. At least they can give us an upgrate to A2.0 (still 4 months away +any (very possible) delay ) . If they don't change these i wont buy it if they do...i will !But until then i hope waiting for news..!
And it is more constructive to discuss the disadvantages rather than advantages(which are obvious and won't change) of sth and when the final product come in stores THINK AND BUY.
A 2010 PHONE with OLD ANDROID OS with these statistics is SUICIDE
Get it now ??????? So go and open an "under 18 years old thread for x10" and make your posts there...

although i've been ghost reading esato for ages, i'm still a newcomer here. i've still got to say this. i don't find you offensive or rude sealover; you have the right to say what you say and the pictures you post are really awesome. most of the guys trashing you are just as bad, in my opinion.
the truth is that needs to knock this out of the park. like most of you here, i am long time Sony buyer, but i work very long hard hours for my money and will not be buying the X10 if htc, samsung or even apple bests (god forbid ).
please take it easy guys, i'm a noob here. don't flame me too much |

+ he doesn't understand it and is thinking we are defending the x10 or SE or sth. Saying the same thing 1000000 times makes all the reader here getting annoyed, they want to read new information and not the same things again and again, without real content. |

1. I'm happy with the latest time/media scape speed. It's a big improvement...and its not the final version yet ! Congrats SE.
2. SE X10 hardware is capable or is ready for the latest demand (16m...etc).... and it is a well-known that the limitation is in the Android 1.6.... and congrats again to SE for providing a capable hardware to handle Android 2.0. As the hardware manufacturer...you've done a good job.
3. I'm surprised to see why its so difficult to understand that SE has provided a hardware that capable to do all the latest/nexgent stuff.... just wait for the software to be adopted. It does'nt need a rocket scientist to understand that.
4. btw, I bought with my own money : P800, P910, P990 and X1. The only failure product is P990. X1 is a good smartphone....(even faster than iphone 3G).

Just because the hardware supports something this doesn't mean it should be implemented. Don't forget that makes PHONES made to make calls with. What is the point of implementing HD recording if it would drain the battery so fast that you can't use your phone to make phone calls with? Do we really want a phone that can't last through the day without recharging the battery? Also you have understand that in order to implement HD recording, not only must the platform support it, but you have to also put the optics on it that support it and we really don't know if the camera does in fact support HD recording.
Also I don't understand this talk about a "very possible delay". Why is a delay considered very possible at this moment?

@Sealover.
Ace Liquid is the first phone to use Android 1.6 and it hasn't been released yet and you call it old?
Android 1.6 isn't old at all and wont exactly be old in February either, it just that it wont be widely used like 1.5. There will most likely not be more than five phones to use Donut (speculation) before Eclair completely overtakes Donut. |

I have a question.... and its really important to me.
Currently, I'm using X1 that can syncronise my notes, tasks, calendar with my Microsoft Outlook. I don't want to key in my appointment and to do list twice.... its very convenient to synchronise using bluetooth.
Can X10 do that ? |

@McKinley i have nothing with you man , really.. i just try to explain to some kids here that it will be good for both SE (sales) and customers(satisfaction) to support an update so to make use of the hardware 100%.I post these statistics to show the reality which is sad. I support SE and E since 1997.
So yes i am happy with the huge screen and resolution.I am happy with camera and quality of photos.I am VERY happy of the processor. And i love the "japanese" design of the phone and i want that phone to be a success but they have to support the device ..!
