I read some very negative things about the W850's navigation keys on gsmarena.com. How is it in real? |

I think the business with the sensor is right as it is, as if the screen got brighter in the dark, it would almost blind you, whereas if its dim, you can still see the screen, and it doesnt make your eyes hurt. Maybe? |

Well mine's totally clean from any operators stuff. Just wanna ask can I change the shortcuts on the small buttons above the screen?

I just wanted to add, and wonder if any other W850 users share my opinion, that I much prefer the "normal" joystick to the four small navigation buttons the W850 has. They are really small and take quite a while to get used to...

the navigation buttons should have been left out and it should just be blank around the play/stop button , but touch sensitive of course

Just read that debranding from o2 will speed the phone up.
Is it worth the money and can I do it through the supplies cable?

Thanks
Will have to get this done, my phone can't format cards for its life (just corrupts them).

I've had my k800i stolen and I'm looking to get a new phone (obviously).
I was very pleased with the k800i, it's an excellent phone, but I can't help but be drawn to this!
Couple of questions..
The only thing that concerns me is the lack of Auto-focus. I've had a k750i and k800 so I'm unsure as to how a difference it will make. Can anyone shed some light?
What is the battery life like when playing back mp3s? How many hours could it run for?

Spec says it should run for 30 hours playing mp3s (mobile-review.com tested and got 27 hours).
If you want to use your phone camera for taking pictures to be viewed on a computer good luck, they look pretty bad.

No, the poor camera. Although I just saw the pics on the mobile-review site and they're not that bad. |

I have the K800i and the W850i and I must say that I would re-purchase the K800i instead of the W850i. The lack of auto-focus is a problem and unless you really want a music phone, there is no need for the Walkman features on the W850i
