Nice one, but What's Natel-C? Is the NMT network still alive in its home, the nordic? |

yeah, NMT is still alive and kicking it's still the network with the best coverage here in Sweden... but in the middle of next year a new digital network will be launched offering mobile services in the same frequency, and by the end of 2007 the NMT network will be shut down.
the Natel C network was based on the NMT technology and used by the provider Swisscom in Switzerland |

yes, NMT is using 450Mhz (that's why it's called NMT450), until 31/12 2000 there was also a NMT900 which used 900MHz, but it had to be closed down in order to give more capacity to GSM networks. |

hey,
i know my dad had this bluetooth box thingy a number of years ago when he had errr....r520? - well...the phone that boba has as his avatar - it was plugged into the mains and then into the phone socket, and he could then use the phone line of the house rather than using the GSM network....im not sure whether its around any more...but if it is i'll post pics - sure someone else has one :S - maybe it was just /// proto :S
i can just remember my mum being rather scared that someone could then stand in the street and use our phone line....and this is in the 3310-ish days lol
