@ jmash, finding a directory in this place will be like trying to find a directory in this place...impossibly hard!

I got pictures of the incredible connection deals for the k800i and w900i that came with the local paper on tuesday, but still, even though I am logged in, clicking on attatched images tells me to "Please login to upload an image." Damn annoying!

Ya when I made the first decision to get the contract it was because I was spending more on PAYG anyway. At least now they are offering the month to month contract I think I'll go for that when my contract expires.

@Brix

Ya some few months back I was reading the very first few posts that were posted on this thread. I must say big up to you Brix. I like the way u handled all the questions from those other guys. Some people seemed to know a little about SA.

Anyone have any ideas where I can get statistics on tourism in South Africa?

Carphone Warehouse here are trying to shift their W700i stock by dropping the price further AND now throwing in a free Bluetooth headset as well; now going for £119.95 (approx R1700 with todays' exchange rate) when bought with £10 airtime.

"...At long last researchers have
teleported the information stored in a beam of light into a
cloud of atoms, which is about as close to getting beamed up by Scotty as we're likely to come in the foreseeable future..."

Check out this article in Scientific American

@kryptik: As a self-confessed Trekkie the news of this teleportation is brilliant.

My word, what a show! It was hardcore! And good! Never experienced an encore beg from the crowd after such a heavy show:) blindside showed what they are made of, and it is good stuff! I managed to get about close enough to be close but avoid the mosh pit, which was just crazy! In the last song Christian climbed on the railing of the balcony surrounding the floor area and jumped from there, and continued singing all the while! The stage was small but according to people who went to woodstock the guitarist does flips on stage while playing...wow!

The opening act was called Subrosa. A bunch of young chaps, and i enjoyed them a lot. Spoke to them afterwards when i took stuff to the car and they were standing there alone. They were so excited when i complemented them. They were signing a cd for someone, and asked me to sign it aswell. Got some pics of that:)

What a fun evening! Psycho and wanqa, you would have loved it! Never seen the slipknot crowd so excited:)

Hell ya! But why avoid the mosh pit Francois dear you're missing out?! Certain mindless barbaric activities bring us back to our monkey roots... And it's a good thing!

Okay there may be some hypocrisy there, i also don't jump in the mosh pit all that often! Got to preserve my brain cells this term anyway while i write my finals. Sigh.

A couple of weeks back a 21 year-old who'd been raised on a steady diet of soppy love songs and teeny pop asked me what a "mosh pit" was...I didn't know whether to laugh or just to direct her to Wikipedia.

Cypress Hill and House Pain...some good hiphop to mosh to.
