Forget WM5 if your budget is 40k. SE: New P800 and P900 are definitely available within that budget.

@mamba: E go hard to get WM for that price, unless na used one. One big disadvantage of WM devices is that their prices hardly drop. For example the K-Jam released in January 2006, still sells for 80k minimum while while the price of SE's P990, which came nearly 6 months after, has dropped from over 100k to less than 60k.
You may want to check computer village, you may be lucky to get a bargain like I did.

@amby,  i was just making fun of u since ur the SE advocate on this thread. i'd rather buy a N80 instead of M600. i guess i'll just go with AYA's suggestion& get a p800 while i save more for a good WM5 phone. |

@mamba: Where in Lagos will you see a P800 or even a P900 to buy? Now that issues concerning the P990 have been resolved with the fifth firmware update, it will be a great buy if you see anyone who wants to resell. Anoher option is Reltel's Treo 700p which goes for 34k with one month free browsing and reasonable pay as you browse plans. You are a Reltel subscriber, shay? |

it's been free for 3 days now.
@brym, I've used the treo and I don't like the huge antenna. Besides, is so boring. I know where to get used p800 for 15k and p900 for 20k so I guess I'll just choose one of those two or get a p910 instead.
I don't think I'll touch the p990 since I've always had such a bad impression about it from the first time I ever tried to use it. |

Does anyone using MTN in Lagos have gprs signal? I've lost the signal on my S55 for the past week and was wondering if its my phone or location thats responsible for this.

Its is not only MTN that is messing up big time, Glo seems to have joined in. But MTN recently gave its plans to fix the mess.
Anyone interested in Open source software here? Just finished a workshop on it here in Abuja.
