yeah,...it was pirated.in the first cd,it was written on the cd cover....but the files were corrupted.but in the second cd(nfsu2)password was not written on the cover.i checked all the ext files in the cd...none had any. |

from a local cd shop...u know the kind that rents pirarted vcds,sells mp3 players,records mp3s on demand,mobile and computer acessories,mobile fones,etc |

These cd shops are always a problem. Why dont you just go to a broadband cybercafe and download the iso or rip of such games using a file sharing app. Earlier when I didnt have broadband at home, I used to go to sify iway and download iso's using kazza

Hi all. Am on a bus headed towards Pune. Will be there for a couple of days. Anyone know of a decent hotel there. I have been there before but never stayed:-(. I hate staying in hotels.

There are only two ways of buying a pirated game...!
either you pay a little more and buy the " Silver edition", thats like the orignal game disc's with CD label printed on the cd's or "Golden" normal CD's. Out of these Silver has 96% success rate...! They are made with more thoughts I guess..I bought a NFS 2 Underground for my cousin it works fine in one buy...Oh yes it was Silver edition...!
If you are in delhi , go to palika bazaar..you will find working editions in silver format for most games

well,djwolf,i bought the silver edition.i checked all the text files in it but couldnt get the password.after i returned the cd and wrote my experience here,shyam335 told me that the passwords r in the exe files which i didnt check.anyway,now that i cant go to the shop myself,if i want the cd,i will have to send a friend of mine to purchase it for me(i am sure the shpkeeper wont even want to see my face inside their shop).i have already asked a guy to arrange for cds but he cant be reliable.if i dont get any games from him,i will have to send a friend to that shop.
