X10 has 384mb RAM, its more than enough for 2.1 as the Milestone has 256mb, Htc Legend has 384mb, and most other mid-ends have 256mb and manage fine with 2.x, there must be something wrong with yours, i would actualy recommend fromatting your phone and memory card and have a totaly fresh start.

@Tsepz_GP it works better now  some config and rebooting.
anyone tried the FB sync? mostly interested in picture syncing (market app sucks imo)

Just flashed/debranded my X10 with Nordic R2BA026, got 2.1 update prompt, will only update tomorrow though once its all cooled down.

Will be nice to know when the UK Generic 2.1 Software comes out over here that's why I got the bebranded X10, Network Operators software Can so get in the way of things like this ever since the P800 days. |

@Toney I got the update before you do
About update, Everything worked great so far. Market couldn't download applications for about half an hour and started to work great after a while.
It works really smooth and love the new style. I'll took couple of HD videos today. New integrations with facebook seems great. There ise a combine and take-a-part option for contacts which makes great sense. You can combine a phone, facebook, gmail, twitter contact into one person. Love it.
I'm sure we are going to love this update. I already loved my phone, now I love even more.

Yeah Nordic is a small region also.
Anyone can flash their X10 to Nordic to change region just to get 2.1 but I'm like you my X10 is sim free and I'd rather get the UK 2.1 version.
