@Ihe Nigerians and football!

Guys, some advice...

I have been VERY frustrated these past few weeks. I have done 3 things so far.
1) I have even resolved to CHECK OUT of Nigeria for "greener spaces". I have even done the US Visa lottery... for the first time ever. I am also aiming for canada as a "skilled worker".
2) I am also going for Microsoft Certification next year.
3) Finally, I am applying for a any good job I see in Guardian newspaper.

You see, Obasanjo and Co are stealing my very LIFE. "If I don't do something, something will do me!"

I have 11 years experience in computing and what do I have to show for it? Baba will look at my T610 and say I am prosperous!

My google search has brought some Canadian "immigration" lawyers/services. Do these things work?
Do you know anyone who has gone to the US/Canada recently as a skilled worker?

@cool. Hmn, we are about to lose another promising Nigerian to Canada; ko? Those immigration service do work, but get in with the right ones. Therez IEIPS or something like that. I wish you success, & dont blame you one bit.

Recently, I got to thinkin about it. If not for the fast-growing organisatios I run, I'd check out too, pronto!

Either here or over ther I believe thngs "ll b alright.My advise is tht,since u have a job offer,dont b discouraged,its ok 2 cross over.Otherwise, like life itself,its a 50/50 risk.Sports is like a palliativ we use 2 cool nerves & postpone d worry about OBJ & them them wahala.

The right prayer is 'God SAVE Nigeria'. The rate at which potentials are being wasted and frustrated is criminal. But wait o! Why is ESATO making me re-enter my nick and password b4 EVERY post? It was not so b4. Very annoying.:-(

@coola. Its unfortunate that the naija system seems programmed to waste as many resources (human or otherwise) as possible. Success often comes INSPITE of the system, & at great cost. Shame!

We are probably the only country not at war & yet without uninterrupted power supply, clean potable water & good roads.

Esato's been misbehaving a little jare. But at least it works. Try hosting a site like this on naija-based servers, & the site will spend more time down than active.

D power of life & death is in d tongue.What we Nigerians confess is exactly whatz happeng 2 us.I beleive OBJ & his colleagues or whoever comes after them cant perform d magic if we continue confessg against d magic itself.Mine is a lone voice in d wilderness. 70k isnt pocket friendly at all.
