I am going to SE tomorrow to Goldhill one... I will be there at 10+am... If they say I can't upgrade my T68i sw I will kill them... I will also be upgrading my T39 sw... Hope that it will not cost a bomb as both phones do not have warranty... |

dairin>- You will be disappointed as they will not change the keypad lights for you. Besides, changing of keypad lights will cost you a bomb. I really mean it, it will be very very expensive. No point of doing that.
It is not worth. Unless you have spare money to spend on it.

dairin>- Now I have check out with SESC. The conversions from "m" to "ic" is not possible. Even if you had done a conversions from "m" to "mc" or "mc" to "m". The "i" sw cannot recognised the conversions and they will only recognised your original handset sw. Meaning if you hold a "m" even you had converted to "mc", when during the upgrading of "i" sw, they only can recognised your "m" sw and not your converted "mc" sw. So your upgrading will be "i" and not "ic". So, you can forget about changing the keypad and the sw to "ic". That is what I can provide you this info.

You just need your warranty card to upgrade I think...
If I'm free, I'll go down tomorrow... the manual and CD can come later
How long did the upgrade take btw for those who did it? |
