I did that years ago with a SE P900 but it was an accident. I was leaning over a bridge and it slipped out my hands into the canal

Well, not sure of sales but i know my brother Andy he is an active type person, biking, camping etc and he wants an Xperia Go. Can be found cheap now and O2 still sells them too as well as Virgin.
My advice, tell him to stay away from it. Rather go for xperia acro S. Go is a brick.

Well, its certainly better in terms of resolved detail at 100% crops. The S4 has a very good camera, ive never been impressed with my S3's camera.
@ Tsepz_GP - literally cannot believe how much good news there is now about the S4. Im almost tempted to drop my S3 in a river accidentally on purpose to warrant replacing it with a S4.
don't do it! GS3 is about to get Android4.2.2.
More great news...
Samsung ships 10 million Galaxy S4 units, adds new colors

Samsung continue to own, many of haters who lingered around here in the beginning have even given up on their favorite OEM's GS4 competitor and are now focused on the OEM's next GS4 competitor which will probably be crushed by both the GS4 and GNote3, the vicious circle continues

dont think there was any doubt that it would be a success and surpass the gs3 and all the new challengers.

Maybe not, but it is nice to have the intelligence to have a decent discussion and not blind stupidity that some of the forum morlocks have.
@ Tsepz_GP - I wont, im hoping for a Nokia EOS unicorn to show up this year.
Ive literally fallen for WP8 this year. Its the most limited, but also very attractive.
Well done to Samsung though. Other Android phones might be good, but they're not in the same league.

Cameraphone Super - Test: Low-Light Indoors Pictures
(Samsung G S IV Vs Nokia 808 Vs Sony Xperia Z Vs Samsung G Note II Vs Apple iPhone 5 Vs SE C901 Vs SE Elm)
Minor notes:
* The various cameraphones have very different angles of view, i.e. some cover a much smaller arc in front of the lens. This, in part, explains why the subjects - all cropped to the same degree - appear different sizes in the comparisons.
The other factor is, of course, the resolution the photos were taken in.
* The Nokia 808 was set at 8 megapixels (in its PureView Creative mode), to better match the resolutions of the other camera phones here (13MP, 13MP, 8MP, 8MP, 5MP and 5MP respectively).
* All phones were left on NIGHT SHOT MODE throughout, apart from manually controlling flash on/off for the low light test.
Nokia 808: 2,7Sec, ISO 400
Samsung Galaxy S IV: ? s, ISO ? (In picture mode multiple exposures are ostensibly recombined into one image)
Sony Xperia Z: 1/8Sec, ISO 800
Samsung Galaxy Note II: ? s, ISO ? (In picture mode multiple exposures are ostensibly recombined into one image)
Apple iPhone 5: 1/15Sec, ISO 3200
Sony Ericsson C901: 1/2Sec, ISO 400
Sony Ericsson Elm: 1/2Sec, ISO 80
Comments welcome, as always |

But that's standby not usage which is completely pointless in this day and age when we are always using our phones

Hes got a point. It depends on how much you use it.
Now if you used yours sparingly, good for you, I don't think I could ever get a phone to last that long.
