the one thing i don't like on ultimate, are the night shots.. i did a comparison, between ultimate 2.39 withan and number one's 2.99 , cutted that bit of image out and as you can see, the ultimate one looks much more processed.
both same settings : twilight landscape, nothing else changed..
ultimate :

i even tried portrait setting, with flash off, on ultimate.. but then it looked even worse than this..

You used twilight landscape, right? That is not the correct mode for that pics, focus is infinite and WB tungsten by default, it's builded for shots in the night at large distances.
Try Portrait mode without flash (indoor special), or the 1/2s slow sync mode, or Auto with flash

yup i used twilight landscape.. oke, i tried it with portrait mode (indoor special), without flash.. withan 2.39 , then i tried it with portrait mode with -0,7 ev , and finally i tried it with portrait mode with flash (but it looks to freaky yellowish and still more processed than with number one's 2.99).. i even tried with auto mode and flash, but wasnt that good too.

hope you can give me an explanation, why all the pics look so bad.. |

I don't understand why them look so bad. Pictures seems to not correspond the modes you said... For example, the first pic sure it's not Portait.
small guide:
1) If you're indoor and there's light try first PORTRAIT mode WITHOUT FLASH (6fps shutter)
2) If you see there's noise, use AUTO mode WITH FLASH.
3) If it's dark use TWILIGHT PORTRAIT WITH FLASH (1/2 sec exposure)
4) If there's VERY VERY poor light use PORTRAIT WITH FLASH (2 sec exposure) |

So what mode would you define or recommend as true PARTY-Mode ?
Poor light and moving objects (people) at distance from 1-3 meters.
For me a PARTY-Mode should also have fast AF.
I think in each driver, there should be at least one TRUE Party-Mode cause everyone will need it some time, there aren't always flowers, trees, bees or TV-watching dogs to be shot.... |

Twilight landscape mode using withan 2.39.
The shot was taken outside in very dark conditions.
Looks good but i hope i can be even better ....
