@jperthllave, some of them might be dead (the band or band members) but their music lives on... same with classic rock.

I need your opinion guys. I'm planning to buy a PC next month. will use it mainly for multimedia so should at least be 1.8G. I have some questions:
AMD or Intel?
Is it the right time to buy a PC or do you think prices will still drop over the coming months?
Know a place where I can get a good deal and service? TIA

calvin, there is no right time. technology becomes obsolete in less than 3 years, and if you'll just wait, you end up waiting. anyway, buy from a reputable source. if branded, go for IBM, HP, Dell (we use Micron for all our desktops and servers, and Toshiba for all notebooks, but they're all import). for multimedia, get as much memory as your budget will permit. amd or intel? well it depends on over-all system configuration. for best performance, get a workstation-class system (walang generic na ganun, branded lahat).

@Arnold: sorry, nope. pardon me, but who's he? If he's the new lead of Van Halen, I guess I'm super outdated I'm stuck at the Sammy Hagar era

@arnold: Ah... I think my brother's familiar with that guy. He's also a music man, bassist actually. He's like the Satriani guy ba?

@bonito, they are similar in that they play the guitar but satriani is more blues/electronic. maybe closer to gary moore but still different.
