After reading the problems you guys are having I can safely say I am well chuffed I didnt manage to upgrade the firmware and stuck with the original pre release firmware...its as stable as pie.
The problems I was having with my push email was actually server side and nothing to do with the phone.
Only bug I can report is when I am in call and when I receive a text and the phone vibrates it keeps on vibrating...way around that is switch off vibrating for text messages and leave it on for eveything else.
I have had a constant sync with my new server no errors for the last 24 hours, just download Opera on the phone and thats much better than the M600i browser even though its powered by Opera.

played with a black m600i at the local mobile store
the built quality is beautiful the screen amazing
really felt solid
so tempting to get one as its for $450 hear
if it comes below 400 then it is a really good phone / pda

@themarques
I have tried the stylus from my NR70 and TH55 but their circumference is greater then the size of the stylus silo of the M600. But seeing my old PDAs reminds me how good Sony are are design, especially the TH55,

For the last two days i have gone back to my K-Jam cause the m600i is just not stable at the moment, i thought i would give it ago again this weekend (i just love the size), now the phone will just crashes after i enter my pin code...going to have to do a reflash now...dont suppose anyone else has seen this problem? |

I'm the opposite. From Monday I'm on my M600 until my k-jam comes back from having a repair as it no longer holds the stylus in the silo.
I'm told this could be 2 to 3 weeks but fortunately the M600 has been fairly stable since the last reflash so fingers crossed!

@Gabster, make sure your battery is fully charged before you reflash.
Like for Masseur, since I reflashed on Monday my M600 has been stable and my second battery's ability to hold charge is good now that I have stopped the short bursts of USB charging. |

I have noticed that the Wake Up Alarm settings I have adjusted appear to be lost/confused after I turn the phone off & on ?
Is this just my one, or do they all do this ?

I was just doing a test as to whether the alarm now goes off when the phone is off (this never worked on p series but works on all other SE phones) but unfortunately it still doesn't work on the M600.
While testing that I saw the problem you describe and its now repeatable. I've cycled on and off setting alarms 6 times and the alarms were reset every time
