But guys, ano nga ba talaga ang reason why people like us chose pre-paid? I mean yung single most important reason for us...
Some would say its "freedom", for some its "anonimity", though some might argue on "savings" they have made.
....for me, i think its FREEDOM.
to every pre-paid users: Can you give your single most important reason? |

lugi din pag may cost control... it is very unwieldly to have it lifted..
at least pag prepaid... pag wala eh di stop and buy frrom virtually anywhere... and if there is an emergency, lamang talaga prepaid  u can almost load anywhere anyway,,, even over the phone
unlike sa line (based on experience), pag cut ka cut ka talaga... what if (knock on wood) i get carnapped or kidnapped tapos hindi ako makatawag? patay... |

Do you think that when they will start charging for gprs and mms, they will open the features for all prepaid subscriber too!?? hope so... di kasi makasend sa mga fellow globe subscribers ng mms eh!!! sayang naman....

to me they should do that due to a simple reason; "profits". if they begin to charge then charge all of them including the prepaid subscribers. they are graduates and some of them have doctorate or masters degrees so they also should have common sense to open all those features to their prepaid clients wherein they profit the most. i do hope they have plain and simple common sense for to me even if you hold multiple master or doctorate degrees but lack common sense then all those are meaningless. the uneducated guy with lots of common sense is far better off. |

they might also provide gprs/mms service to prepaid accounts. as darknezz have pointed out, it would be extra income for globe's side. but me thinks that they might have planned not to give gprs to prepaid accounts for segmentation purposes. since they, as in globe, might think that mms/gprs capable phones are a bit pricy so most probably they belong to the upscale bracket. thus, gprs/mms are available to the post paid subscribers. this is only a hypothesis. but i heard that some prepaid numbers have gprs. |

i do have a prepaid, and i use it to bug people! ehehehe  kasi yung postpaid ko alam nila, so i use a prepaid pagfeeling kong mangulit at maging anonymous. |

I check my sister's phone frm tym 2 tym to see if her (relatively) new prepaid sim would finally hav a gprs signal. I did a double take this evening when i saw the inverted triangle signal! @* Better check yours prepaid people... :-)

i do check my other prepaid sim (starts w 0916), and yup, it already has a gprs signal but you cant still access wap sites. Hmmm... i dont know why... did u tried accessing wap sites using ur phone? In any case, gprs is already accessible to all prepaid.. then good for us!!! |

hunch is Globe blocked tactel.
most 0916 have GPRS signal. i tried setting up my classmates 6310 and until lately i couldnt get its GPRS to work. his number starts with 0916... |
