Well, your friend is wrong, T300 is already shipping.
And, what part of my post was rude!?! I even said 'please'.  You're the one using words like 'moron'. Was that really necessary? I explained why I asked you for a source. You can't just say 'T300 has been delayed.' without any arguments...

Ok Ok ! I admit I went overboard there !! 
I was having a darn BAD day yesterday...
First I sat for my math test which was CRAP, then I fell down my Ericsson R520m, then I go an GPRS and try too cool off but I see your post... Then I blew my top !!
Now my math 2 test when fine and I am now thinking logically so I admit I was wrong.
Btw when I said I had news about the P800 being delayed, again I got a similar reply, well now.... see ? Who's right ? I WAS right, the P800 is now officially delayed. Earlier no one believed me, well ?
Ok, maybe they want to start selling the T300 in Europe first..but in Malaysia I think it will be another two months or so....
Only time will tell

So, what's the latest update on the T300 ?
Does anyone know how much the games on mophun.com will cost ? Or are they free ?....

The games will probably cost, but that is up to the game providers. The operators can offer games for free if they want to and probably will for promotion.
The *only* reason I'm buying this phone is that you can DL the SDK and make your own games for it. I've done it and started playing with it and it seems cool. The games look better that anyting else I've seen on a mobile.
I'm gonna make myself an Asteroids clone just for the hell of it!
But I don't think your own games can be distributed without being sent to Mophun for a certification process. So you can't just IR the games to your friends. But thats understandable. They wan't to have a little bit of control over what the users DL to their phones. And give publishers the possibilty of making some money, so the good contents get to phones too...

@Jonteponte: I don't think that you will be able to install your own games on your phone. The game has to be certified before it can run on the phone, and only the Mophun guys can certify your game.
Btw, the price of the games should be 3-5 $ (or Euros), but that really depends on the operators (maybe they'll give some of them for free, but maybe they'll also beef up the prices to see how much money are people willing to pay ).
@sanjeevjaya: You can download the SDK from http://www.mophun.com . You have to register first, but it is all free...

I browsed the Mophun SDK documentation and the forums the other day and my impression was that it *was* possible to test the games on the hardware, but that it can't be distributed. I.E you can't get the game to your friends phone in any way.
But I'm not 100% sure. I'll get back on that.
It would be pretty cool to have a kickass game on your phone and you know you are the only one having it. And think of the possibilites of playing around and doing demos in the old 8-bit style! I'm gonna try to do some of my old vectorballs-routines on the T300. I'm hoping it will be easy converting some of my old Amiga-sources
No matter what, the gameflets can be distributed in raw form to be played on the simulator so maybe there is hope for the game/demoscene anyway!

I asked one of the biggest Mobile Chains here in Sweden about the T300 last week. They said they would have it in two weeks. But I had to educate him about the Gaming Platform in the T300. He had absolutely no idea about that. But he was interested and I gave him the info he needed to read more bout it. Always a pleasure helping out retailers educating themselves |

Everything is releative. My current phone is a 5110. The T300 is alot more managable. But I don't see the need if you have a 68i. Maybe if youre passionate about games and/or want to develop them.

Yeah, If I had a T68i too I won't bother getting a T300 but I only have a R520m so I WANT A T300 !!
Only problem is I don't know how I'm gonna live without the calender function ??!?!?!!! WHY did they have to take it out ? WHY ???? WHY ? WHY ????
