I am still getting the standby crashes at least once a day. I might take the phone back to 02 and exchange it or if i take it to slough they have a 02 technical centre there. Do you think they will have a newer version of the firmware or would they just re install the current version?
I need to get it sorted before the 14 days in case it is a hardware fault. what do u think is the best thing to do masseur? |

I dont know if anyone has posted this before, but on my UK K750i the 4 joystick shortcuts reset to default everytime i restart the phone.
Ive also noticed the phone needs a contrast control, since my screen is rather pale compared to my old K700i. The colours need to be boosted.
Check me out on Instagram ! search for etaab ! |

contrast are indeed a litle pale compared to K700
This and other bugs, like crashes (on some, I havent had any) will be fixed in the next firmware. Its not hardware errors.
Those on branded firmwares might have to wait a litle longer for new firmwares than those without branded firmwares. |

My K750 is now all of one day old... Great little phone...Sim free version got from the UAE with Arabic also printed on the keys.. I tested it to it's full extent i guess... with hardcore use... searching to find any of the bugs i had read about here:
Anyway no standby crash for me yet, everything works perfectly..
except that i tried to rotate an image and then thought otherwise and clicked the back button before the rotation was complete and the cell froze.. but i left it like that for about a min and it shut off and restarted on its own... with no problems whatsoever... But since it;s just a day old yet, i wouldn't want to count my chickens already...
And yeah Battery Life is Superb...

My k750 has the standby crash problem too. I've been using it for two days now and it crashed during standby once each day. This is a big problem becuase normally I'd never know that my phone's crashed by looking at the blank screen and callers will not be able to reach me.
I haven't faced the shortcut problem though.
Lets hope that the firmware will be user-upgradable through the bundled usd cable and I won't have to buy a new version of the sync station.

Firmware is upgradeable through the supplied USB cable and S//E updateservice. You wont need a new syncstation.
Those reporting bugs, could you please also list the firmwareversion of your phone and information of any operator branding.
This will greatly help determine causes and possible fixes
To find your firmwareversion
>*<<*<* Is how you can access your service menu
>*<<*<*12 is how you can view what firmware your phone has
Mine is R1A044

I've had one problem and one thing which se never improve on.
1.Like everyone says they're shortcut resets. This has happend twice. I decativated mine and then activated it again. Hasn't messed up for 2 days now.
Other thing is when zooming into pictures once they're taken, i tend to quickly press the button for it to zoom in. It then crashes. Happend to me twice aswell. I'll have to wait abit longer before zooming in, not really a big issue just would be nice if it was a little bit faster.
Other then that i think this phones going ace. Not had any other faults whatsoever. Thats brilliant for a phone just released.
Brilliant battery
Camera never crashes
Quick Menu's
...
Off course we should stay on topic... |

Maybe because he read page 67 of the User Manual? |

another bug i found is that if someone misscalled u and the missedcall showed in the activity menu... calling that person stright away from there won't get the misscall icon away!
u need to go to the calls list or go back to the activity menu --> more --> dismiss!!
if its not a bug then its inconvenient!
yeah and... Macro mode ROCKS! |

We would not have this kind of forums if everybody read the manual. |

We would, but there would be less irrelevant questions
And if visitors in these forums actually also read the the relevant topics and used the search in these forums, we also would not have to answer the same questions over and over and over and over..........
No offence to anyone
