Yes, I have noted the same problem that Mobile picks the signals late. One Good thing is that its voice is clear although we have one dot in signal but TELENOR voice cut off even in half of signals.
One other bad thing about WARID is the INCOMPATIBILITY issue.
The TEXT MESSAGE send from WARID server through WEB2SMS is unreadable on NOKIA mobiles of upto 2003 but readable on NOKIA models of 2004 and afterwards. I have checked it on four mobiles. NOKIA 7210,2100,2300,2600. 7210 and 2100 are of 2003,
2300 and 2600 are of 2004 and 2005 respectively.
Now cosider I got a message from WARID WEB2SMS and store this message on the SIM, when I inserted the SIM in 7210,2100 and opened that message, written inside is "the message cannot be displayed" on the other hand when I entered the same SIM in 2300,2600 the message could be read clearly as it was send from WEB2SMS, why is this INCOMPATIBILITY exists? All others PHONES are compatible on all networks than why this Incompatible?
Someone please check himself and comment? If want to check then I will send the message to you through WEB2SMS.
The same problem also persists with the password send from WARID server at the first time of registration.
I will plan to go to its main office with the complaint. |

Due to warid in city SAHIWAL the Jazz and Paktel GSM sims were being sold for free in front of Warid main frenchise.To buy Paktel GSM u had to give 200 RS just for credit (on activation u have 200 RS) and for jazz 130 RS just for credit (on activation u have 130 RS balance) and the sim was free..
so this the competition. |

@bilal. Yahan fsd main mobilink ke har franchise per dhool wale khare hain aur woo loog dhool baja ker 130 ke sim 130 rupees ke balance ke sath sale ker rahe hain. About incompatibility i can not tell any thing as no one send me sms from web to sms. But on my 6600 the activation code they send was opened may be my firm ware some different as the 6600 is also a 2003 release set. Hope some one tell about it soon. Regards. Umer

I also checked it on NOKIA 6600, its fine readable but Why not on NOKIA 7210,2100? |

hahahahha man MObilink and paktel were having fun man... As we all know Mobilink is Giant in PK so it has the baddest monopoly man... Hope tht some thing will b done tht the rates cut down some more but i will say tht there is a lot of difference in the rates as compared a year b4. comments??
in the race of Warid and Telenor there is a simple
telenor can use this slogan - "Looks can b deceptive" it only look tht their offices r v gud lookin n stuff but the service is not tht gud. the best thing of them is tht they introduced easyload and nothing else.. |

Now Let us hope TELENOR drop down its tarrif its highest of all.
Company loses its respect by selling connection just as PAKTEL & MOBILINK has done on arrival of WARID.
By the way MOBILINK is already the most disrespectful and PAKTEL has no self respect at all. |

@ bilal. Ok man i try to explain the thing. When you use the key board of the pc first time in life you find it very odd also. All the alfa bats are scattered at least i felt like this that why a and b are so far on key board. Lol. So is the case of mobile keys first you feel difficult but if you use say an hour every day in 10 or 15 days you start typing fast on them. I use agile messenger every day an hour or more. So i am used to these keys. But only to 6600 keys some times when i try some other handset then i can not type fast. Hope this is enough explanation. Regards. Umer

man u r talking abt mobilink 50% sale of sims is of mobilink and 50% share others thts y they dont give **** to respect no 1 can do anything to them thts y i was hearing from 2 yrs tht they r introducing GPRS and they have dont it just last month and which is on post paid and mobilink earns its 80% profit from Jazz but they dont giv a shit. but no 1 can beat mobilink rite now and 4 some coming yrs unless som comp do somthing v much big.. |

BILAL........ if you have bluetooth mobile then you can purchase bluetooth keyboard ... if you feel difficult to write from mobile key pad..... some one told me that it's very cheap here in pakistan aprrox..1200Rs... dont know that it's true:-) because i purchased it from DUBAI for 310Dhs...its 5000Rs...

Ah man. How huge is that guy i mean that key board. We need sets which has that big nice screen. Who has a key board which fold in or even simple keys fold in and light weight and with long battery life. Lol. We do not like to carry an extra key board with the set. 3230 and p910i are good sets for us. Any one using agile on 3230. Does agile work fine on it and what about its price and every thing . UMERHAYAT brother don't worry it's not heavy like me  it can fit in your front pocket very easly and it's folding....and 50 hours battery timing... i use that keybaord and really its amazing...

have the newz tht Warid is converting its tech in to 3.5GHZ circuits by the end of this year so the voice and data speed and quality will b improved.. they r working on EDGE right now and will b consedring 3G soon.. any reports??? |
