EDGE is a big factor for some countries.
T230 >> T610 >> Ngage QD >> N73 >> N85 >> Omnia HD >> And countless other review units |

Do you still get countries where at least one network does not support EDGE ? In Switzerland EDGE covers 98% ! Even in backwards countries (Africa,India etc) EDGE is taking over ! I will never even consider a new cellphone which does not support EDGE !

Yeah, sadly you are right buddy. Somalia is one of them. Fortunately I don't reside there. ;-)

Well, in the case of EDGE, i think comparing the 6230i against the K600i is a more logical comparison.
6230i for EDGE if you need it, or if not available the K600i if you're able to access UMTS.
I dont like either of the two phones, give me 2G K750i anyday.

I know plenty of South Africans who have recently move to NZ. None of them care that New Zealand doesn't have EDGE.
Go the K750! |

| Belgium is a country without an EDGE network (although one of the operators will launch EDGE by the end of the year, but it's the worst out of our three networks) |

Most European countries do have EDGE or are busy upgrading ! Trust me after you have accessed the net on to your laptop thru edge (bluetooth connected to your edge enabled cellphone while in your poked ! ), you will never look back to the old and outdated GPRS ! You should see the eyes of the onlookers while you do stock trading on the beach ! Greetings from a sunny South Africa. Mario :-)
