I understand that you can send MMS cross country with O2.
Germany and Holland are two countries I seem to remember but there were loads more on the list

There seems to be here a total misunderstanding about MMS.
Currently MMS roaming - sending between different operators -
do not work. There are some exceptions, but they are very, very
few.
So you have to have the same MMS-settings in both the sending
and receiving phone. You either use independent MMS-service center
such as ours, www.mixmobile.com, or wait until mms-roaming
works, which will take some time.
ps. Do not confuse MMS-roaming with GPRS-roaming. they are two different things. |

MMS roaming is starting, there is a technical spec for it, so
it is more about commercial issues. Here in Finland, just yesterday
two local operators announced a MMS roaming agreement between
them.
There are still areas where even the SMS-sending between operators
do not work.
