having an unlocking cable is never theoretically useless. However the SEUS for V800 and presumably also Z800 does not require a T28 cable or even a Dss25, as the cable that was supplied with the phone will actually do the job. I don't know about you, but I personally se this as a big step towards the customer by .
If you wish to debrand or unlock via davinci, you can use Dss 25, Total Multi Server supports the t28 cable (dunno of either supports the other but go check their sites to find out)

D-OH! i just read this post after i've bought the DSS-25.... but its quite a good stand though, but now i simply can't get the DSS-25 to recongize my V800(when i press < & on button) when i need the winxp to detect my v800 to install the flash drivers |

@yolish
that's the moment when the java applet is launched and "sonyericsson service client" starts...
the download and installation of that client should start by itself...so check if you have security features activated in explorer.
I did the update and it worked...

If by MP3 issue you are referring to Digital Right Management, the answer is no. It's Vodafone branded software and your MP3's will still need to be DRM protected.

Guys wtf!
I did an update.
Said to press < and start. I did that. The leds are lit upslightly.
But that's it, it's not doing anything.
PC isn't doing anything, phone isn't doing anything.
And i'm worried to remove the wire or switch it off....
*sighs*
screw it, pulled it out and removed the battery.
everything is fine.
