At moving it there must be a bit harder push, that shows the joy is ok

@ivan and boba
i need some insight, if it's not too much to trouble you. but i'm noticing some things happening to my t68i. for one, for no reason at all, it just hangs up. when i do a hard reset (i remove the battery) the standby time goes down significantly (i.e., 200 hrs to 120 hrs.) i've had my phone for two years, i think this is the first batch that came into here in our shores way back in 2002. is it showing signs of old age? all of these are tolerable though and it doesn't happen all too often to be irritating. just wondering... |

Try doing an upgrade,like Boba said,and by a new battery.I think that will solve your problem...

Bit of a thread revival here I know...
I've just bought and fixed a T68i with a microphone problem, the only problem is that the joystick has a similar problem to this one, whenever I try to go down (needed quite a bit of pressure) it acts like it's been pressed in, and going right is tricky. Joystick count over 237,000.
What oil was used to lubricate the joystick? I've got some good old WD40, will that work without buggering the phone up completely? Indeed, will that help at all?
Failing that, is there a way to get the joystick working at least a bit better than it is without resorting to having to solder a new unit on?
