My first looked something like this:
It was actually an older Moto from the "brick" days but couldn't find a pic on the net.
You know it's old when it's attached to your car!! |

I don't find a pict of my first phone (a cream white Moto brick), but I found one of my first ericsson phone, not sure of the model but it was CDMA and looked exactly as this GSM GH-218.
This is actually my backup phone, because my T68i is being used by my dad and my T300 was stoled a month ago. This is a Samsung SGH-R225 dualband, color leds and.... Well, it's just a backup phone.

No extra features and sometimes hard to understand, menu is far from user friendly!, but they're really reliable phones.

All my phones, from my first in 1996 to my current :
Left to right :
Nokia Orange 5.1 (2110)
Nokia nk702 (6130)
Nokia 7110e
Nokia 6210e
Nokia 8310e
Nokia 7250
Sony-Ericsson P900
Best phone - tie between 8310e and 5.1, because they both do what they say on the tin. Most of the others have buggy firmware, poor reliability, and are a 2nd/3rd replacement (none was used for more than 18 months before replacing).

GSM mobile phone technology didn't show up here until 2001, so we didn't get to see them old phones, except in movies.
My first phone was this Nokia 3330. It was so cool, cos it had voice dialing and exchangeable covers. It had a wap browser, but no one knew what wap was all about. The networks only offered voice then.

This one is the first cell phone I used... It wasn't really mine, It was my sister's and after she got a new one I used it for a while with 'pre-paid' cards.
My actual First phone was this SONY, which I loved and was really cool.
