Mine too won't budge.

Maybe itīs a batch thing then.. i smirked at all poor souls here who reported lost badges until one day i picked up mine and MY badge was missing MIne was a pretty early one, maybe one week after release if that has anything to do with it.

I'd be more than happy if that irritating vodafone badge slid off the bottom of my K700!

I can't believe Jorgen's reply to that, the S65 has a poor camera in low light even for a .3MP camera and it's blatantly obvious, he just looks childish constantly denying it and putting down other phones.

i get you. my description was broad and brief. i liked the s65 for most of its functions. compared to the k700i, i liked the user interface better. yes the camera is way better but that wasn't my only criteria.
in my opinion, the s65 has somewhat faster gprs connection time considering that the telcos on the phones were the same. another would be the expandable memory. which would be a boon for the owner since he uses his phone as a full fledge multimedia machine. although the s65 is not a full blown smartphone, i think it has enough smarts to be one.
but then again it is my opinion... i still consider my t68i and mca-25 combo the best for the past two years. |

Mine is going back and i want it changing for a k700 or samsung d500. Camera was excellent in good light but grainy as hell any other time. Video record and playback was awful! Then today. I installed a theme that when applied the phone crashed. On restart i'd lost everything including my t9 dictionary! I wouldn't advise anyone to have this phone. Lucky i still have my trusty t630 is all i can say! Well i gave it a go and i've grown to hate the thing, its the last siemens phone i get after this experience!

completely different phones. it depends on what you want. i am not bothered about mp3's and have a digi cam so i would just go for the one that looks best - the k7
and also, i love the concept - its fonts, layouts, styles, marketing.i just do!

Well i am going to see what the *75-series brings. I personally donīt lose hope in a manufacturer because of one lemon lineup. Hopefully they have learned from this experience and will whittle away perhaps a little longer first at drawing board/R&D and then maybe Beta test themselves instead of letting us end users do the job for them. I mean, the S55 was very nice IMO, they should be able to make a niceīun again?!

Oh dear John.
I dunno I may take my chances with it.. the S55 was a bugger to start with but after numerous updating it went from bad to excellent!
I wouldn't touch the K7 with a bargepole
why not get a 6230?

Well problem is, the S65 has already had a lot of fw-updates.. AFAIK itīs now on fw25
About not touching K7 etc etc.. well, your loss really..
And for me, NO current Nokia tickles my fancy in any way at all
My brother has a 6600 thatīs pretty decent actually, but recent lineup is too much "Transformers-inspired" for me..

What we talk...of course K7 s the better one...
Come, Come again !
Whatever you are...
Whether you are infidel,
idolater or fireworshipper.
Whether you have broken your vows
of repentance a hundred times
This is not the gate of despair,
This is the gate of hope.
Come, come again...
