I don't really know what the mobile phone monitor is because I can't install the disc that came along with the K700i because it doesn't support my W98SE OS. With that, I could only use FMA which can be found at http://fma.sourceforge.net/ or Dateimanager @ http://k700.hitziger.net .

The PC Suite bundled with the K700i is good only for the following: Windows 2000, ME, XP, Outlook 2000, Outlook 2002 and 2003.
Makes me wonder why W98 is not supported. But I'm very happy with the FMA. |

you can still install the PC suite of k700 onto windows 98. just explore the cd, then install the programs one after another. |

Thanks for the tip regarding installing the programs one by one. I'll try that tonight.
@jowi
I'm using the latest versions of Dateimager and FMA. Sorry but I don't know what unicodes are.
There is also another helpful program that comes with Dateimager that makes a "ding" for every minute of talking in the phone. |

I'm using Fma 0.1.1.16 Stable. Pardon the ignorance but I don't know what the Delphi source codes are. Do i have to download and install the source codes? How to install them? Thanks!

Delphi source codes are of no use to you.
If you're just using FMA as it is na "mag-explore" ng phone, use FMA's functions and/or connect it to a serial port. Just use the latest stable release or binary.
If you're going to develop more features, fix bugs and improve FMA, then you'll know what to do with them source codes.

Thanks for enlightening me about those source codes. FMA is purely for exploring the k700i for me. |

dunno if it's just me but just uncovered a bug when synchronizing contacts on a k700i...some of the contacts from the phone are not copied to the fma contacts folder/file. kahit pa-ulit-ulit ko gawin ayaw (

hello folks, i just got a k700i with a R2L001 firmware at mega exchange at megamall.
i got these strange phone behaviors:
-when earphones attached and detached the LCD backlight cannot be turned on. when phone turned off it cannot be turned on again. quick removal of batteries is the quick fix.
-when phone is in powersave and somebody texts the vibra goes on an on and on even if you read the text. turning off and on and off the vibra in preferences fixes it or restart.
-when phone is in powersave and it is like that for an hour or so, sometimes the sound cuts off and cannot hear ringer or text tone. restart ulit solution
anyone here is experiencing the same? any comments? violent reactions?
thanks a lot! |

Your handset is definitely faulty, change it as soon as u can. I use my headphones, use powersave mode and all but i havent even once encountered such problems. If i do in future, i got insurance on my phone for 2years! :-)
